If you are showcasing your body to attract whatever kind of consumer, don't ask others, ESPECIALLY MEN, to be attracted to the unattractive. Of course there are other venues such as a sales lady where her premise fits. Even then knowledgeable trumps kind. A woman with cellulite modelling swimwear to sell is like showcasing a hotel with dented cars parked out front.

“Cellulite doesn’t make you any less beautiful. It isn’t a representation of your health and it DEFINITELY shouldn’t stop you from loving yourself,” Nyssa wrote.

My wife is almost twice her age and objectively looks better than this:

Over the last week, the 21-year-old model from Sydney shared a series of body-positive posts as part of a response to trolls who took issue with some of her recent swimsuit snaps.

"Models," reality tv celebrities, social media stars, what have you often live in their own made up dreamworld anyway, devoid of reality... and just about everything else as well.

To each their own. As someone with a naturally curvy bottom side it's hard AF to keep and maintain a good tone and yes my booty and legs will never be smooth and I accept that. It is what it is.

You can criticize her all you want but I would bet anything you wouldn't post a picture of yourself in a swimsuit for us to judge.

I'm not selling anything. That's the difference.

And .... I ain't buyin' what she's sellin' either.

Maybe I missed it but what exactly is that lady selling?

Swimwear, presumably. However, swimsuit models are known to sell, cars, underwear, tools, diet plans and more. I didn't look up what her particular gigs are.

I think most girls never look nearly as good as they do in person, as they would in a professional photo shoot.

My wife as well, but who cares? That woman is probably some guy's thing.

She is advertising women’s swimwear. Why would what men think of her appearance matter?

Anyone who disparages how that midel looks, I'll have your share.
Looks just fine to me.

I personally like callipygian young ladies, and bathycolpian young ladies too.

I've notices over the past few years advertisers of women's clothes seem to always include a "plus size" character in the spot. To me it's no big deal, the recent spat of "body shaming" is, IMHO, totally mindless and shallow.

I looked at the picture. She looks perfectly okay. She looks like a real woman.
This nonsense about cellulite is just that, nonsense. Of course there are extreme cases but most women have a little bit of it and it's not the big deal that some morons make it out to be.

PS: Enjoy your naturally curvy bottom. I'm sure others do ;)

With of course the noticeable exception of Latin America. Go to a non rich tourist beach in Brazil and it will take your breath away. Porto Seguro in the state of Bahia comes to mind.

I have not had time to investigate but Paglia is in love with Brazilian Culture, though the country sure is not doing well.....and that fire at the Museum Man.... that sort of thing just rips the heart out of cultures.

But she Loves Em!

Chile was the same way. The ugliest ten percent of Chilenas would be “average” in the US.

Also it seems artificial hair dies and enough piercings to set off airport metal detectors are unheard of in that country.

the reality is there are models for every demographic
a company selling plus size clothes would be foolish to hire only slim models to highlight the company's collection of offerings
ditto for the elder market
same for minority target markets
model should spend her money earned in front of a camera and quit taking others' opinions too seriously

May be ones who are criticizing her should show off their impeccably perfect bodies, esp the guys with the not so firm 2 1/2 packs.

my 12-pack turned into a keg, so i'm gonna take a pass

Some dudes feel the need to say out loud that she's not a good-looking woman? Well okay then. Step aside, boys, while you wait for your perfect, idealized model who won't willingly get anywhere near you. ;)

Dirt washes off, cellulite doesn't. There's no need to wait, only hunt. I have mentioned several proven places in my posts. However, one or more Iberian languages is a must.

If a woman acquiesces to objectification in professional life, she loses the right to speak. I'm pretty sure that's the rule.

The reality is that the vast majority of women...and consumers of ladies swimwear...have 'real' figures. I think its fan fricken tastic that women that will actually WEAR the swimsuits model the swimsuits and give women a real feel for what it will look like as opposed to a skinny gal providing an unrealistic expectation of appearance. I also think its awesome that we have reached a point where women can feel comfortable going to the beach and wear a 2 piece and not be afraid of being judged and if someone has a problem with what they are wearing or how they look they can go ahead and eat **** and die.

My wife is petite and large breasted. She used to spent hour agonizing over looking just right in a 1 piece suit. When she hit 50, she found an amazing attitude and it came accompanied with a whole lot of "go **** yourself" where other peoples opinions are concerned. She could always rock a bikini...but now she is willing to.

Side note...thong suits on ladies...hey...it looks uncomfortable but if thats where you are at...big ups. Thong suits on guys...ALWAYS a fashion faux pas...and I dont even care if thats hypocritical.
