Sweden on the Cusp of going "far right?"

Sweden Democrats are MAGA....

That is why he implemented slavery.

Yea, ask the Jews about that.. and the Catholics that opposed him.

He had breeding programs, where women were either forced or paid to breed...

LOL

He was a big fan of IG Farben, Thyseen Krup, BASF, Benz, and created the biggest car company in the world today... Volkswagen. A critic of corporatism?

He put trade unionists in concentration camps.

He put socialists in camps too.

A very curious way to be left-wing.

I guess I'll have to concede this point. He did believe in workers' rights. Here he is from Mein Kampf:

Hitler also created the DAF, which harmonized relations between employers and employees by controlling wages and working conditions. While it wasn't perfect, compare Hitler's actions to Lenin - who sent Trotsky to murder workers trying to form unions:

Hitler was friendlier to labor than Lenin was, so I have to admit that you are correct on this point.

Not really. Hitler was actually obsessed with race, and he believed one particular race was causing all the problems. It's a position that sounds very familiar, so I may have to concede this point as well.

Again, he really wasn't. He liked the idea of using large corporations to do the government's dirty work.

You should know better than to rely on his words as opposed to his actions.

Far right in Sweden is far right in the US, maybe a little bit more towards Nazism where your extreme right moves toward Facism. It has all the elements of racism, thinking of “masters" set to rule others, privilages by birthright, but with some elements of socialism when it comes to the lesser successful people of the masters...

They got 21% of the votes in yesterdays election and are now the second biggest party. They are strongest in the south of Sweden (as was the Nazi party during WW2)
Wow, lol 1 in 5 Swedish voters are "a little bit more towards Nazism..." LOL Sure...

No, not that far right. Hitler believed in individual rights, free speech, free markets, open borders, and strict limits on government power. None of the Sweden Democrats are as far right as Hitler was.
You got to be kidding.

He believed in none of those things.
He did. It was not called a worker's party for nothing. When he cut a deal with the corporatists he literally had to gut the leadership of his party

Sorry guy, my post was tongue in cheek and meant as a sarcastic response to the post I answered.
Irony does not work when it's too close to truth.

Look, whether you are left-wing or right-wing is determined by the political views you hold. We know for a fact that Hitler was right-wing, therefore he held similar political views as Milton Friedman, Ayn Rand, and modern libertarians. It makes perfect sense, I don't understand why you two are having so much trouble.

You don't know political history very well.

LOL ! You never disappoint!

But does it mean pro-Putin or anti-NATO?
It does not mean pro Putin or anti NATO anymore as far as I can tell. It did mean that before the war though.

I want to say THANK YOU to the EU liberal group that has said to our liberal group that it would not be acceptable to sit in a Government with the SD (far right party) or to let through a government that contains the SD party. If they do that, they would be dismissed from the group.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

The Swedish liberal party that really has left their liberal ideology behind a long time ago, but doesn't want to acknowledge that, is what we call wave masters (their mandates decide which side gets to form government.)

Finally, the EU liberals reacts, and this means that the liberal party has their “pears” eyes on them and a very slippery road to walk. Will they be forced to acknowledge that they aren't liberal anymore by the liberal group in the EU? It would mean that they deny their own raison d'être

The right extremist party (SD) will by most accounts not be part of the government but support the government in exchange for a number of demands (same goes for the liberal party). Those demands are as far from liberalism as you can get.
