BOSTON - More than 10 blinking electronic devices planted at bridges and other spots in Boston threw a scare into the city Wednesday in what turned out to be a publicity campaign for a late-night cable cartoon. Most if not all of the devices depict a character giving the finger.

Story

They think its a hoax, but they forget, the mooninities have the most dangerous WMD ever...the Quad Lazer, you can not defeat it.

For any of those truly curious, here is a reenactment of this horrendous terrorist action: Reenactment

Wow, I don't know who to feel worse for right now...Boston or Time Warner. Either way, Cartoon Network makes out like bandits here

Pre 9/11 the incidents in Boston would have been seen as funny.
Post 9/11, not funny.
It is to be hoped that Time Warner will be billed for the entire cost of the shut down of this city as well as the full cost for removal of these devices from all other Cities where they have been placed.
In addition a massive fine to deter both this company as well as anyone else who seeks to advertise in this manner.
