Revelations that the Bush administration ordered forgeries to show that Saddam and al Qaeda were connected are turning out to be true, although it looks like Suskind got some of the details wrong.

At this point, it now appears that Dick Cheney ordered the forgery, and it was done through Douglas Feith and the Office of Special Plans. Bush himself was kept out of the loop on this one, and he did not know about it.

And impeachment is STILL off the table....why???
 
Now it makes perfect sense why Cheney referred to Weekly Standard's article as the "best source of information" on the Iraq-al'Qaeda (non)link. Because he ordered Douglas Feith to push that "Feith Memo" sewage out to the public as well. "Case Closed" indeed.
 
Too little too late. The damage is done and these people will be out of office before any process can punish them.
