If true, this, to me, is the most shocking and horrific element:

Surprises me that you have (in spite of so many instances of sexual perversions carried out by ministers, preachers, Priests) not realised they are in fact a small congregation of perverted people.

You know, if they just confined themselves to sucking on a sausage once in a while, it wouldnt bother me at all. However, they are supporting all the killing that is going on in Iraq. The Bible says you shall know them by the fruits they bear, and the fruit from these people seems to be rotten to the core. Bill Maher was talking about Ted Haggard on his show, and said "When the Devil tempted Ted, he yelled out 'get behind me Satan'.". LOL.

I think this whole situation is just flat out tragic. Just pause and think about this, Ted Haggard was passionately preaching and working against homosexuality, while he was a closeted homosexual. Imagine just how ****ed up you have to be, and how self hating you have to be to do that. I don't know how you can look at this man and think "You know what that guy needs right now? I think he needs to be mocked publicly and often!"

You disagree with him, and that's cool, you hate a lot of what he stands for, and that's also cool, but when you no longer extend the basic respect of feeling compassion for someone who is obviously in a great amount of pain, and probably has been for his whole life, that's not cool.

Well, if that's the case then it's all the more reprehensible that he chose the path he did. He no doubt had many other tickets to ride. He chose this one.

He chose to make his millions peddling hate against himself. Think about that.

If that were all, he would truly be pitiable, and I would have all sorts of compassion for him.
But he peddled hate and discrimination against many people other than himself.
