The federal courthouse in Washington where the fight began went to unusual lengths to keep it secret.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to block fines against a foreign-owned company that refuses to comply with a subpoena, apparently from special counsel Robert Mueller's prosecutors, to testify before a federal grand jury.

The identity of the company and the name of the country where it's based are unknown, because virtually all the legal documents are under seal.

My thinking is that the company involved is Deutsche Bank because it fits all the elements that have been released to the public. This is very good news for Mueller, who seems to be nearing the finish of his investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

They had also filed with SCOTUS to hear their petition. Today's ruling lets the fines stand, but they still have their petition on file. Now will SCOTUS hear the case quickly or let it linger. I go with longer. No rush, National Security and all
