Washington (CNN)The Supreme Court on Tuesday once again did not act on the Trump administration's effort to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, leaving protections for nearly 700,000 undocumented immigrants who came to the US as children in place for at least the next several months.

Trump issues executive order stopping DACA, then during shutdown, offers a small part of DACA to be reinstituted in exchange for his wall. There is a good reason Democrats said it was a non-starter.... Because it is in the courts. Trump was sued for stopping DACA, and for the Dems to accept his offer would have meant giving up on the lawsuit some of them had filed.

And now, Trump doesn't have DACA to hold hostage, thanks to SCOTUS. What will he do next?

"Nice First Amendment you have there, America. Too bad if something were to happen to it." Yea, Trump is definitely a Mafia Godfather. He will make you an offer he doesn't understand.

You know, the courts are now "packed" with conservative jurists and even so, Trump's aren't passing muster even with those judges. That even the now conservative courts won't abide "Mr. I Hire The Best People's" policies harkens to just how ill-conceived and un-American those policies and Trump's attempted implementations of them are.

When did DACA become a first amendment issue? Agreeing with Trump on DACA does not mean that the lawsuit can't remain in place until the courts rule, not sure where you get that idea.
