But go ahead and impeach the president, Nancy Pelosi. You're on a winning streak. Bring in those Independents your party so desperately needs to gain back the WH and keep the house and senate

Probably on this message board.

I'm not surprised by any of this.

Emerson Polling - November National Poll: Support for Impeachment Declines; Biden and Sanders Lead Democratic Primary

Pelosi's on a whining streak alright...

It's not Pelosi, but she's doing a good job.

Remember, impeaching the President not only involves removing the President, but also overturning an election. For impeachment to succeed, the ones that supported the President must be convinced that he isn't the man they voted for. That hasn't happened. As it stands now, it's an attempt for non-Republican voters to overpower Republican voters.

I think calling the president's crime "bribery" and labeling him an "imposter" had something to do with that "whining streak."

Such a winner, this whining woman. :donkeyfla

Many who post here, including me, called this weeks ago.
Karma baby!

What you and so many others don't seem to get because you are so blinded by your beliefs that the dems are just out to get trump because they hate him, most of you guys can't think objectively, so let me try to help.

It's not about winning, it's not about we on the left are sore losers, it is all about what trump has done and what trump has said, nothing more. We actually believe this president is out of control, dangerous and dishonest. It's about using the tools our founding fathers gave us to protect our constitution and our democracy.

The right sorely wants america to believe this is all unconstitutional and a witch hunt by the angry democratic trump haters.

I think the public in general will be even more pissed off when the gop senators do nothing.

Hope it doesn't hurt too badly when reality crashes into the right wing beliefs.

It might be going down but RCP still has 48% favoring impeachment vs 44.7% that don't.

Polling was conducted prior to Sondland's testimony, so I wouldn't take too much solace in this.

Democrats are going to bail on the impeachment the moment it looks as if they will suffer in the 2016 house races. With the Horowitz and Durham investigations getting ready to come to light the democrats will be on pins and needles. We already have word that a FBI official is under investigation in connection with the surveillance of the Trump campaign for falsifying documents. I'm sure it isn't just one guy doing it and covering it up. As the ship goes down the rats jump off.

Yeah that must be it...

I was told it was a coup. That would imply Pence is engineering it.

Nice fantasy. Very comforting, no doubt.

Let's be clear: the house is impeaching, the senate is acquitting. In some ways this has much less to do with partisanship, and in other ways much more.

I can see a tiny bit of wiggle room but...eh...

It was a corrupt act. They still haven't gotten around to debating whether he did it or is removable.

Unless the GOP braintrust would rather go to election with President Pence than President Trump. Then, all bets would be off.

To Trump's credit, I have not heard any rumors he got an extramarital blow job in the Oval Office, then lied about it under oath.

I was told it was a coup. That would imply Pence is engineering it.

Ummm no it wouldn’t.

A coup can involve any element of the government, not just the next guy in line

Yes, you actually believe your invented narrative. That doesn’t make anything better.

Ummm no it wouldn’t.

A coup can involve any element of the government, not just the next guy in line

But it would involve whoever took power. Obviously that means the Democrats aren't fomenting a coup, unless you think they mean to replace Trump with one of their own.
And please, no convoluted analogies about bringing a false damning charge into the election. A coup also has to be sudden and illegal.

I know it's not your point, but I would like to state that I much prefer to think of that weird looking man as completely asexual since I'm not sure he's human enough for a woman having sex with him to be legal

Sondland's testimony was a complete Nothing Burger.

The entire sham is a complete Nothing Burger.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

They're desperately grasping at Nothing Burgers.

Oh, man, I wish he had. I would love to see the Trump supporters defending Bill Clinton behavior when Trump does it.

It sure looks like the DEM braintrust battle cry is "Pence for President."
