Oh my! Mocking the dear leader. The cracks are getting bigger.

On the ride, Sununu said Trump spoke mostly about his polling numbers before pointing to people along the route whom he said were his fans, according to The Associated Press.
“I can’t help but notice the guy he pointed at, the sign he’s holding says, ‘‘F— Trump’, ” the governor said.

This sound about right.

SO proud of my governor.

Trump tried to get his corrupt piece of shit buddy Corey Lewandowski to get rid of Sununu.

I'm in NH as well and Sununu has done a great job of resisting the Trump agenda and doing what he thinks is best. I don't always agree with him but respect that he makes his choices without simply doing what he is told.

Chris Sununu, who got his job because his dad, John Sununu, was also New Hampshire governor way back? The elder Sununu was also whitehouse chief of staff for the (late) elder Bush, which also aligned them toward the NeoCon camp.

I wonder if Trump will start bringing him up at rallies now, trying to get his Hench men fans together for a payback slap.
Or call out his Proud Boys posse?

It wouldn't matter much. Those two have never been eye to eye and Sununu has won pretty easily during the Trump years. He has as close to bipartisan support here as anyone. I know quite a few people who vote Sununu and the rest of the ticket blue. Of course the Trump die hards vote for him (or against the letter D) just because of the "R".

LOL, yeah, what a surpise. I haven't heard Trump mocked once in the last 6 years. He has always been treated with such undue respect and politeness. It's really amazing to see him, finally, after all these years, receiving a small bit of mockery.

Trump hasn't earned an ounce of respect. He's a terrible human being.

Not so much from his own Party. More from them is a good thing for this country. Could the fever be breaking? 😆

Wrong. I live in NH and he got his job because of who he is.

Don't post about things you don't know about.

LOL, maybe so, but that's why it's so funny that the thread begins with sort of a "finally! someone mocks Trump!" vibe. It struck me as funny. Trump has been getting nothing but disrespect and mockery for the last 6 straight years. It's not like anyone has been shy about it.

Putin fanboys are not going to be happy with this... speak of, look above this a few posts.

Yup, noticed it right away.

I am not fond of his politics, but well, he's ok for a republican.

I didn't vote for him in the first primary. I voted for Frank Edelblut, who is the Commissioner of the NH Department of Education. But I did vote for Sununu in the general election and have continued to support him since. He's a very good, and very popular, governor.

I think the point is that a republican is "finally" mocking him, but I get what you're saying.

Yes, the faux shock was intentional in a how could this happen sort of way.

LOL, half the Republican Party Establishment "finally" mocked him in 2015 and 2016. Remember "never Trump" - that was the half of the Republican Party establishment that mocked him incessantly, for years. What do you mean "finally" Republican is mocking him? We heard it since day one of his announced candidacy.

My wifes family in NH were saying that Frank Edelblut has gone crazy with the school reform stuff? Crazy that they would make him commissioner of education when he homeschooled all his kids.

Yup. I've been very disappointed in him since he took on the role, and have talked to Sununu's office more than once about it.

Your word, not mine. The fact that Sununu (or, a Republican) is mocking Trump shouldn't be surprising, I agree. But, considering you say half of them mock him, they sure have been quiet about it. I hope Sununu encourages more republicans to speak up

There's been a lot of water under the bridge since then. See, e.g., Liz Cheney.

He will.

Sununu is his own man. He doesn't need the backing of that piece of shit Trump or the support of Trump Fan Nation. Sununu is smarter than Trump and his supporters (who are not smart at all). Sununu has managed to keep many many people like me - lifelong Republicans who are repulsed by Trump and what he and his supporters have done to this country.

Sununu will be one of the leaders of the Republican Party when it manages to wash the stink of Trump off itself.

The Republican establishment that poster spoke of is no longer the Republican establishment. The two are polar opposites now.
