Is there a contingency for the transfer of the Office of the Presidency, if the sitting President becomes incapacitated, but still lucid enough not to agree voluntarily?

25th Amendment.

Roosevelt was incapacitated way before he died.

They didn't give Truman authority until after Roosevelt's death.

I can't see Trump or his family putting Pence in charge before Trump's death.

This isn't true, Roosevelt was not incapacitated. He was on vacation in Georgia where he suddenly passed. Perhaps you are thinking of Woodrow Wilson?

The 3rd sentence is sick wishful thinking. Shame.

The VP and majority of the cabinet would have to agree the prez is unable to carryout his duties and so advise the Senate and the House, then the VP becomes in charge, whereupon if and when the prez submits his own written declaration that he can discharge his duties then the House and Senate must so abide and the prez is back in office again. If Pence then came down with COVID it would go to Pelosi which would w/o doubt be contested by the Reps, with a fair amount of reason, as unconstitutional. I guess anything is possible before Biden is sworn in to keep Trump from doing God knows what before he's dragged kicking and screaming, or wheeled-out, of the WH.

Biden will be declared unfit for office within 6 months as planned by the Liberal's.
