Stupidest freshman congressperson? It’s not AOC

Sure he did....McCain thought your hero trump was a phony and a loud mouth.....That's the reason you discredit of him...Right?

McCain said that any operation that suffered KIA's was a failure.

How is he stupid? And how is what he is saying wrong?

Do you honestly think Donald Trump would have refused to sign off on government funding if the Republicans had kept the house and he wouldn't be dealing with an incoming Democratic-held House of Representatives?

The government shutdown started on December 22, 2018. You do know, don't you, that the Republicans still controlled the House on December 22, 2018?

In an alternate universe where Republicans still held the House, the government would be open, federal workers would have their paychecks, and Border Patrol would have the funding and tools they need.

Just something to think about.

That alternate universe he pines for existed from December 22, 2018 until January 3, 2019.

That's how he's stupid, and that's why it's wrong. Did you really now already know this?

Don’t know if you’re aware, but he DID refuse to sign off on government funding when the GOP controller the house.

I know it was a long time ago.

Too bad you didn't tell Trump that he shouldn't trash a disabled veteran.

But you hate veterans, so we shouldn't be surprised.

He better not trash Tusli Gabbard, she has the Meritorious Service Medal.

That sounds like an invitation.

She is a woman, with power, of course you don't like / fear her.

In politics, it boils down to one concise question: Does this advance or impede socialism? Gender is almost not a factor. I would campaign for someone like Diane Black or Marsha Blackburn over any Democrat. For that matter, even over most Republicans and certainly over Trump. I guess you could say that I'm rather impressed with two black women from Tennessee.

Great way to treat a Purple Heart recipient.
His Purple Heart does not make immune to criticism. LCDR Crenshaw is big boy, more than tough enough to handle “mean words”.

All the righteous outrage about AOC can be directed to a new congressman.

He’s posted a few stupid things this year, but he takes the cake with this tweet:

Twitter

Apparently, he doesn’t have a memory of what happened in history.

Namely, three weeks ago, when the GOP controlled the house and initiated the shutdown.

What a maroon.

Yeah, dumb tweet, by Alex from the Bronx is still dumberer.

Marsha Blackburn appears to be an idiot Air Head...Just sayin'

Yeah, but it gives apdst something else to use when he makes trolling posts.

OK, it's just one tweet, but it does look pretty dumb. And yes, he is a veteran and purple heart recipient. None of this makes him wise, intelligent, or infallible. It just means he served and he was wounded.

Let's see what he does after this.

If you're asserting that she is less astute than AOC, then you have your partisan goggles on.

Again, tres borrachos, let me be clear: if there had been no Blue Wave and the Republicans still held the House after January 3, 2019, do you honestly think in your heart of hearts Donald Trump would refuse to sign off on a budget put in front of him? I highly doubt it. If we are going to say that the imprecision of his semantics is what makes this man the stupidest person in Congress, fine. I disagree, because what he is saying is almost certainly true. If the Republicans had kept their majority in the House after the 2018 elections, Donald Trump almost certainly never would have forced the issue of a Border Wall and would have kept kicking the can down down the road. Just as he did after the 2016 elections.

Never would've made it out of the Senate as they didn't have a filibuster-proof majority. They'd have to still hold it and have more seats in the Senate.

Three weeks ago a lame duck House voted for the wall, and a lame duck Senate couldn't prevent a couple of GOP Senate holdouts from derailing the effort before it got started. But in the alternate universe:

In an alternate universe where Republicans still held the House, the government would be open, federal workers would have their paychecks, and Border Patrol would have the funding and tools they need. Just something to think about.

Maybe yes, maybe not. Still, his point survives the undue optimism - in that alternate universe the GOP holds the house and the current Senate (now by greater margins with Republican derailers gone) and Trump has his belated current focus. A shutdown might not have been necessary.

Of course, if the filibuster were still be in play (depending on the rules regarding yearly budgetary matters) then Alternate Universe Senate Democrats would filibuster anyway.

But if this is supposed to be evidence of the most stupid Congressman, its pretty damn lame - Maxine Watters, Ms. AOC, Nancy Pelosi and many others have made this Congressman look brilliant in comparison.

The implication from the esteemed Lt. Cmdr. Crenshaw is that the Dems winning the House was a Bad Thing and that the People should have just lined up and elected Republicans in order to prevent Trump from shooting the hostage. A fairly tone-deaf statement, at best.

It doesn't matter what I think in my "heart of hearts". No, what he is saying is not true. That's a fact. As I pointed out to you.
