There have been 3 high profile firings of FBI agents under the Trump administration so far. First was James Comey, author of the book "A Higher Loyalty" and Democrat sycophant hoping to be remembered as a hero in spite of his checkered past. Second was the deputy director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, who leaked to the press for personal gain and ended up fired. Third, was the infamous Peter Strzok who cheated on his wife with attorney Lisa Page while bragging about his intentions of undermining the Trump Administration from within.

Safe to say we need to drain the swamp, and so far have been making great progress in doing so. The firing of James Comey allowed for Christopher Wray to be put into power, where he appointed David Bowdich as his deputy after Andrew McCabe was sacked. And from there, Bowdich was able to overturn the decision by Candace Will to allow Strzok to continue working within the FBI. Why would Candace Will make such a decision? She's a Mueller appointee.

James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Candace Will - so many names that will go down in history as part of our shameful past, a time before Trump when federal agencies were heavily politicized under Obama. Thank God these people have been singled out, and thank God the FBI is back on the right track; or at least, I hope it is...

That's all? That is not nearly enough.

The funny thing is, you idiots think that people who are critical of Trump are the people who should be shoved out the door.

He is a criminal and an embarrassment.

You are correct about the firings, but that isn't the whole story. There are also a number of FBI officials who resigned.

FBI Departures:

James Comey, director (fired)

Andrew McCabe, deputy director (fired)

Peter Strzok, counterintelligence expert (fired)

Lisa Page, attorney (demoted; resigned)

James Rybicki, chief of staff (resigned)

James Baker, general counsel (resigned)

Mike Kortan, assistant director for public affairs (resigned)

Josh Campbell, special assistant to James Comey (resigned)

James Turgal, executive assistant director (resigned)

Greg Bower, assistant director for office of congressional affairs (resigned)

Michael Steinbach, executive assistant director (resigned)

John Giacalone, executive assistant director (resigned)

And then, we have all the firings, resignations and demotions in the DOJ.

DOJ Departures:

Sally Yates, deputy attorney general (fired)

Bruce Ohr, associate deputy attorney general (twice demoted)

David Laufman, counterintelligence chief (resigned)

Rachel Brand, deputy attorney general (resigned)

That's a lot of swamp draining...but for sure, it's not enough. There is a whole slew of swamp creatures still inhabiting the Executive Branch...even some who came onboard after Trump took Office.

But don't worry...Trump is working on it.

Being "critical" has nothing to do with it.

Using government position and power to take direct action against an American citizen for political purposes is the reason those people were removed.

I have seen the "FBI Files" documentaries. It is quite bad that corruption may have struck such an effective office against crime and now may need to be "drained." Comey in particular was bad because as a giant he sure seemed like a scary US watchdog!

What do these people do now after no longer working for the FBI? I ask because other security jobs should be quite boring by comparison.

You take care of the toilet. Trump is taking care of the swamp.

Trump has joined the swamp.

He is trying to become one with it, although it didn't like him at first.

But it's learning to work with him so as to maintain the swamp's power.

These FBI weren't part of the swamp.
If they were, they'd still be in their jobs, no matter what they did.

Unless they were sacrifices to allow others to remain.

Sources for the criminality you allege?

... slenderman bowing to, apologizing to the whole world about how bad America was/is... Now that was embarrassing. This after we had just elected him, the first person of color elevated to the highest position in the world. What a stupid ingrate he was. And Michelle's even dumber, anti-patriotic sentiments expressed.

Yeah, that couple was a major embarrassment to our nation.

What a very poor assessment of the facts available.

You actually believe your dribble ?

Trump best get moving on that swamp draining. He only has two more years before the electorate kick him to the curb. Ten million more votes cast for Dems than Rep in the midterms. Whats really telling is the gender gap. Over 60% of women voted Dem. After bragging about the great economy the GOP got their ass's handed to them a few weeks ago. Now that is swamp draining, courtesy of the American people !!

Luv it !!

They can't keep slashing taxes to keep up the sugar high either. They must have set Ryan uop good financially for him to greedily slash taxes like he did, leaving no room for doing a bunch more of it to keep that sugar high going. They may find themselves needing a war, since the only two strategies Republican have economically are war and slashing taxes.

Sounds like Trump to me. He wants the DOJ to prosecute people with no evidence of wrong doing other than they oppose Trump. He also uses his office to make money from foreign governments and that viiolates the constitution. Of course none of tha bothers you Trump cultists, does it?

Just scanning through the names seems that quite a number of them were directly involved in the botched Hillary email investigation and her questionable exoneration travesty. I agree with you that this is good, and that it probably doesn't go far enough.

I wonder what the next IG report is going to reveal and conclude. Might be a few more that resign or are fired as the conclusion of this approaches.

I think you are going to have to give me examples of Trump doing this stuff...but give them in another thread, eh? This thread is about the Obama FBI/DOJ.

Around here, all roads lead to Trump.

I haven't stated anything but fact. Do you find that challenging? I don't.

IN this thread, maybe, but yeah you and facts have a very loose relationship, kinda like the Huck-sanders cow.
