Storms, tornadoes kill at least 14

Just be still, everyone, and wait. This will be the fault of George Bush in no time.

Storms, tornadoes kill at least 14: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

You know, I just don't see any fringe far left knee-jerk nutjobs on this board who are likely to make this claim.

Billo is about as extreme left as we have. However, as for far right knee-jerk partisan hacks, we've got at least a handful (ptsdKID, aquapub, you to a lesser extent, etc) You're like a demi-ptsdKID.

Just how do you think the Shrub could be blamed for this?
If blame is to be attatched to any politician by any other politician, then one could suggest that the new Gov. of Florida could follow well established norms and blame the Gov. whom he succeeded.
I daresay someone will pop up and suggest it is the Islamic followers who are to blame.
NP will undoubtedly blame the Liberals within Florida.

Just a question for people who have to deal with tornadoes. Do they get names like hurricanes?

Yes, they do, but it's just one name for all of them....

"Mother<you know what>"

No they just list the F-scale.
The Fujita Tornado Scale, usually referred to as the F-Scale, classifies tornadoes based on the resulting damage. This scale was developed by Dr. T. Theodore Fujita (University of Chicago) in 1971.

But dan's name for them works just as well...

tornadoes are not around long enough to be named
hurricanes we get to spend days if not weeks with them, so we like to name them, get to know them, and maybe have a cocktail

death toll is 19 now....

My post was tongue-in-cheek, jujuman.

However, I remember the liberal conspiracies after the tsunami. One theory surmized that Bush planned for a secret nuclear explosion under the sea so as to cause a massive wave in an attempt to kill terrorists.

So, be patient. In a few days we'll hear that Bush suppressed global warming data, thus missing the chance to thwart off tornadoes. Remember, Bush lied, people died. ;)

Lets try to keep this more focused on the actual news and less focused on off-topic partisan swipes.
