The purpose behind vehicle technology is transportation.
Not going to happen. Those gun phobic leftists love mass shootings. Why? Because it greatly helps their cause.Bottom line is that if our leftist debate opponents would simply spend less than 1000 dollars they could become part of the only constitutional solution we have for keeping these killers from being successful. Tired of thoughts and prayers they claim! Arm up and become an army of law abiding defenders of the innocent.
If you meant that Drs. Kleck and Gertz have decades of experience dealing with dishonorable criminal leftist filth, you would right. They are experienced criminologists after all and they know your ilk all too well.Kleck has decades of experience being a bullshit artist... Not surprised the gun nuts cling to discredited "study"...
Lucky both didn't shoot. You know that right?**** yeah, luck is how we get to be in our 60s after leading an irresponsible life.
I am not a tough guy. I dont try to be. Well, maybe a little what I was in my 20s, 30,s but mostly I was just stupid.
Let's see, I am blind in one eye because I was unlucky. Blind side punch at 4am strip club in times Square before its rebirth.
I have had my house 3 broken into and 2 cars robbed.
In your world I should be loaded for bear at all times. In my world, shit happens and you roll with it or you'll likely make it worse.
Gun, I was 21, my girlfriend 18. Sun had just gone down. We were driving down a one lane dirty road with fields of onions on both sides. Miles from a regular road.
Up ahead we noticed there was a car stopped which of course blocked the road.
As I came to a stop, a good ole boy, (would be a Trumpist today) appeared with a shotgun pointed at my head. The gun was no more than a foot away. He told he to get out of the car.
I did not say a word. I simply slammed the car into reverse. He did not shoot. I must have been going 40 mph in reverse with no way to turn around. His headlights facing mine . Finally at the crossroads of these one lane dirt roads I was able to swing my car to get him behind me so I did not have to drive backwards anymore. He and his buddy followed us till I turned into my grandma's farm. He did not pull into the driveway but simply turned around and left.
Next time I was in Brooklyn. The girl I was with was black. I walked her home. Her brother did not like that I was white. So he did what all folks do with guns, he used it to threaten me. As I always do, I said not a word no matter what he said. I simply walked backwards until I hit the corner.
My gun alone or one of the 400,000,000 in private hands?Does your gun work 1,000+ times a day? Nope. Sorry. Keep pretending it does and soon we'll have no crime.... I mean we have a bazillion guns in the country and we have a bazillion crimes too...
The math is obvious to most of us. I'm sure it'll dawn on you someday.
What are you talking about? You should stop making canned assumptions.
Stuff like they have in some other rich countries that would pass muster in US courts. Somehow they have managed to have far lower rates of gun deaths. But the US learning from other countries? Heresy! What, exactly, is “proper gun regulation”?
The US has learned from other countries. We've learned that having a national registry, as they do in the UK and Australia, would enable the government to confiscate guns as such a registry allowed the governments in the UK and Australia to confiscate guns en masse when said guns were banned.Stuff like they have in some other rich countries that would pass muster in US courts. Somehow they have managed to have far lower rates of gun deaths. But the US learning from other countries? Heresy!
You assumed I was not a gun owner. And you also assumed that I was a coward and whining. I do not "task" anyone to protect myself or my family. I expect law enforcement to do their jobs, but I do not trust that they will or have the right training to act. In order to better protect I seek to even the playing field and remove some danger. What are you talking about?
Sounds good to me, though I would compensate the owners. Was it all guns or just certain types? Did the UK and Australia succumb to some tyranny thereafter? The US has learned from other countries. We've learned that having a national registry, as they do in the UK and Australia, would enable the government to confiscate guns as such a registry allowed the governments in the UK and Australia to confiscate guns en masse when said guns were banned.
What laws in other countries would pass Constitutional muster here? All of those confiscations?Stuff like they have in some other rich countries that would pass muster in US courts. Somehow they have managed to have far lower rates of gun deaths. But the US learning from other countries? Heresy!
In the UK it was handguns, repeating rifles, and repeating shotguns, or what would be about 300 million guns in the US.Sounds good to me, though I would compensate the owners. Was it all guns or just certain types? Did the UK and Australia succumb to some tyranny thereafter?

Laws banning certain weapons held up, and they even diminished the killings while in effect. What laws in other countries would pass Constitutional muster here? All of those confiscations?
If they are compensated, who cares? Win-win: fewer weapons, fewer killings. You're asking on behalf of the peaceful, law abiding citizens who were forced to give up their legitimately obtained property at gunpoint?
If they are compensated, who cares? Win-win: fewer weapons, fewer killings.
For years we have debated about guns. Pro gun vs anti gun members fighting back and forth. Many questions by both sides. Many accusation. From socialists to vigilante. From unconstitutionalist to fearful. In the meantime life go's on.
A young man named Elisjsha Dicken just saved a bunch of people. He didn't complain about the Uvalde response. He didn't blast the AR-15. He didn't rabidly clamor for more gun laws. No he simply took the responsibility for his own safety and decided to carry a firearm for protection. No talking just acting.
Perhaps if a few more folks took responsibility for their own safety instead of complaining or crying about guns or police, maybe more of these nut jobs can be eliminated before they kill mass numbers of innocents.
Are liberals to cowardly to protect themselves with firearms? I wouldn't think so.
Are liberals not capable of developing the skill and tactics to safely and accurately handle a firearm? I'm an instructor and this answer is they are very capable.
Do liberals just not give a shit about themselves or others? Possibly?
Are liberals unable to recognize the very real danger from evil violent criminals? Possibly?
Are liberals just lazy? Possibly?
Bottom line is that if our leftist debate opponents would simply spend less than 1000 dollars they could become part of the only constitutional solution we have for keeping these killers from being successful. Tired of thoughts and prayers they claim! Arm up and become an army of law abiding defenders of the innocent.
This kid had no training and he destroyed an AR armed opponent. On courage alone. Imagine the possibilies with training and that courage. We all can and should become part of the solution!
One cited Kleck the other the CDC. Liberals hate Kleck but would eat the peanuts out of the CDC's shit. So let's go with the CDC and now you have your 1369 per day.You guys got to get your fables straight.
@Glitch.... c'mon... you gonna let him lie like that? LOL.
Did you complete your training yet? I heard that you unarmed leftists have been preparing. Police designed a couple courses just for you guys. Begging for mercy, the coward edition and A Grammy winners guide to playing dead. Both top notch I heard.Did you run into any shootouts on the way to work this morning? No? Neither did anyone else.
Carry on.
In Australia they banned semi automatic rifles, in the UK they banned "small firearms" which were guns that had under 12 inches of barrel length and 24 inches of overall length. Owners were compensated but nothing near the full value of the guns that were turned in. The reason why everybody who had such guns turned them in is because the guns were on national registries in the UK and Australia which meant if you owned such guns and didn't turn them in the government would come after you. Here in the USA we've learned that from the UK and Australia, we've learned what happens when you have a national registry and so we've learned not to have a national registry in the USA. Its because of what happened in the UK and Australia why we don't want a national registry, so we've learned from said countries.Sounds good to me, though I would compensate the owners. Was it all guns or just certain types? Did the UK and Australia succumb to some tyranny thereafter?
It is not law enforcement's job to protect you or your family, just society as a whole.I do not "task" anyone to protect myself or my family. I expect law enforcement to do their jobs, but I do not trust that they will or have the right training to act.
If by arming everyone you're talking about making it mandatory for everybody to own weapons yes I agree that's stupid. Part of having rights is also having the right to not exercise them if you choose not to.Arming everyone is not only stupid but ****ing stupid. Some people should not have weapons, (especially the ones that jump to stupid ass conclusions quickly).
So @Glitch is full of shit? Cool. One cited Kleck the other the CDC. Liberals hate Kleck but would eat the peanuts out of the CDC's shit. So let's go with the CDC and now you have your 1369 per day.
Now if you have evidence that your beloved cdc is wrong please feel free to share it. Until then you have been defeated in this debate.
Someone with your utter and complete ignorance on the subject calling something a fable just from those ignorant misinformed personal feelings is a joke. We are laughing at you.
Been on this rock for 50+ years...never needed a gun. Never will need a gun.Did you complete your training yet? I heard that you unarmed leftists have been preparing. Police designed a couple courses just for you guys. Begging for mercy, the coward edition and A Grammy winners guide to playing dead. Both top notch I heard.
You should write the pro gun control amicus briefs for SCOTUS.Been on this rock for 50+ years...never needed a gun. Never will need a gun.
But then again, I don't need a prosthetic for my manhood. Others do.
If we can ban why cant we ban guns why is that the only thing we wont restrict?Hmm… so that would be just as effective as the nationwide ban on ‘street drugs’ (aka the “war on drugs”) which has allegedly been in effect for many decades. The result is of that “ban” is that ‘street drugs’ are available 24/7/365 and support a multi-billion dollar international industry run entirely by and for criminals.
