Stock Market Numbers

Obama was great for established businesses. They could off shore manufacturing, box it up and sell it in America and no one in the administration made a peep.
Weird, which admin saw the largest declines in US manufacturing employment?

The Stock Markets seem to breath.

There are Bull runs up and Bear runs down. Also, days up and days down and even hours within days.

When the president was elected and his communication style was still novel, every Tweet he typed and word he spoke caused the markets to rocket up or crash down.

Not so much anymore. Now the bombast is ignored and the real nuggets are retained.

He is being heard for what HE is saying not for what the Media says he is saying. This will cause great concern among the Democrat-Socialists and their mouthpiece propagandists in the media.

If it's happening in the minds on the stock market investors, can the thinking members of the public be far behind?

Also, before the Great Recession, there was talk of how great the housing market was and how people who could never have afforded houses before were now getting loans.

It was that reality and that talk of it that was the real cause of the Great Recession.

Also, before the Great Recession, there was talk of how great the housing market was and how people who could never have afforded houses before were now getting loans.

Yep, And Mr. Sean Hannity boasted about that all the time also before the Great Recession

Gee, let me guess. Now this is even more profound, what happens if the earth disappears or one of the turtles we are standing on moves?

You're standing on a turtle?

Oh, you have a different opinion on the stock market.

I would love to hear your valuable insight beyond "Trump Is Awesome!".

Please, I am looking to make some money.

You seem to be very upset.

Slow down. Take a breath and try to figure out why increases in the stock markets might be beneficial to you.

Try to figure out why increasing value and optimism regarding the 3000 stocks traded on the NASDAQ might be a good thing for out economy.

What kind of a world do you live in that inspires such anger and hate?

Why don't you tell us how beneficial the stock market is to the avg American and the economy? You seem to think so, but don't say, you don't give any evidence, just hyperbolic emotional characterization of another's post w/o any such expressed emotion in the post.

Many people did.

The ideas of Sub Prime Lending and Red Lining were put forward as evidence of systemic racism in that general time frame.

Turns out that Will Rogers was right. Banks will only lend you money if you can prove you don't need it.

So no insights for me?

The NASDAQ Is being entirely driven by tech stocks and almost nothing else, that has very little to do with Trump.

But all this is begging for a correction of monumental proportions, I'm doing this stuff day in and day out so believe me when I say the NASDAQ breaking historic highs constantly for the last 2 weeks is not sustainable...

Or maybe I'm the crazy one and if millions are thrown onto the streets, the NASDAQ will triple in a day.

But tell me this, if the market does fall and it could be some insane market event no one can predict, that's the crazy thing about how this works, will you blame Trump as much as you've praised him for the upside?

I'll tell you this though, listening to investors all day, the riots and protesters don't even factor in here at all, I promise you that.

Again, you REALLY need to calm down. Your health and life would benefit.

NASDAQ is tech heavy, but not ALL tech. I'm not sure that you've heard, but there was a pandemic that caused people to stay home when the news leaked out.

The NASDAQ hit bottom in about mid March. At that time, I bought a little more than $800 of an ETF on the NASDAQ. Current value is $1,362. If you want to make money, buy low and sell high.

Because people are changing their lives and buying products sold by companies trading their stock on the NASDAQ, this might BE sustainable.

We'll see...

Insane market events do happen. Covid is one such example. However, NIO just ran up from $1.00 to about $21.00. EV Company. Tezla was already riding high.

The world is changing and the companies that change with it will prosper.

Rioters have the goal of looting and causing mayhem. They are angry, destructive butt holes. Gun Makers can't pump their products out fast enough and gun MSRP's are a joke. Use that plus 20% as the starting point to buy.

If the rioters are successful, then the various stock markets will be hit.

Democrat-Socialists are rooting for the "mostly peaceful protesters" to get Trump out of office.

I was born in Minneapolis and the Democrat-Socialists have taken over there and are turning this once great city into a S---hole. Very sad.

New "Detroits" are springing up across the country. The Democrat-Socialist dream come true.

Its turtles all the way down baby.

For some reason I'm thinking of the old riddle: What does a snail say when he's riding on the back of turtle?
