At around the 3 minute mark Colbert pulls out a map of Illinois. It's a state long run by the party who claims they would never engage in the creation of districts meant to confer electoral advantages. The look on the Pritzker's face at about 3:20 is that of a man who's being asked a tough question by someone he thought was an ally.

Then he navigated it beautifully. He made a joke and brought the discussion back to Texas redrawing congressional districts for a second time after a census.

Nobody disagrees that gerrymandering is dirty.

But accelerating the normal schedule just ahead of an election without US census data is not just gerrymandering; it's pure, unadulterated corruption. No two ways about it.

Pritzker made it clear in this video. You didn't miss that part, did you?

There seems to be a disagreement on whether both sides participate. The look on Pritzker's face when Colbert turned around the Illinois congressional map was priceless. Like I said, he handled it really well though.

Doesn't really matter because blue states are losing people and red states are gaining. The 2030 census is going to be devastating for democrats.
