This is a documentary I found a few days ago that I found it unusually interesting.

Essentially, it suggests that the reason we have such social dis-ease in America is because we are a democratic nation and because of that, we are constantly yearning for what others have because we've been taught that in a democracy you can be anything you want.

I highly reccomend it for anyone to watch. Sadly it is hosted on MegaVideo which allows only 75 minutes of viewing per 24 hour period and there are three parts. I watched the parts over different days. The wait is well worth it
 
The American dream is a lie. Society doesn't work that way. It never has and it never will.
