Statistically, married men molest children more than single men. Why?

i think it is because they have sex on a regular basis or access to it

It's only logical... They think about sex more than single men who, hopefully, are more cautious about unmarried sex and the myriad consequences that can arise therefrom

So yeh... so much for priests being "allowed" to marry

I am once again thinking of.. the title of a thread I posted some time ago

But also... we have to teach both sexes to THINK about the ramifications of sexual activity (meaning: we have to teach them this more often than we do). Even married sex can be "wrong"... (Some have sex just to relieve sex, don't care about the other person much)

I care about children. Let's do all we can to keep them from being molested

Too many people get married too soon... marry the wrong person... don't understand what commitment is and etc......etc

Total numbers? Is that just because there are more married men?

or Per capita of married men, verses, per capita of un-married men? Show me the link to the scientific study.

What in the actual **** is this shit??

Molestation and consensual sex have nothing in common except some of the body parts involved. The mindset of each is completely different.

It's all true that priests and schoolteachers are more likely to molest children. It's not really because priests or schoolteachers are more likely to be pedophiles. It's because they're more likey to be around children.

It's the same with daycare workers and boy scout leaders.

It stands to reason that married men are also more likely to be around children than unmarried men.

And that's why statistics can be misleading.
