It's routine for most of these officials to stop after one term. We might be reading too much into this.
State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said Wednesday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton still plans to step down after her successor is chosen despite President Barack Obama winning a second term.
“I don’t think the secretary’s plans have changed. You’ve heard her say many times that she intends to see through transition of a successor and then she will go back to private life and enjoy some rest and think and write and all those things,” Nuland said.
"I have ruled it out. It's important for me to step off this incredibly high wire I've been on, to take stock of the rest of my life," she said, adding, "I will always want to be in service to my country."
She the list of possible Democratic contenders for president in 2016. Vice President Joe Biden’s name is also being bandied about for a presidential run in 2016.....snip~

Will she run in 2016? It's clear she is stepping down!
Didn't Colin Powell do kind of the same thing in '04?
I doubt Hillary Clinton will run in 2016. I'm not surprised she's stepping down. She's getting old.
Hillary loves the limelight too much to leave public life, but she can't run in 2016 unless she puts some distance between herself and the disaster that Obama's second term will be.

Neither of them would stand up to Christie at the general. If she is going to run and so is Biden that will face them off in a Primary. How can Biden even think he stands a chance against her is beyond me.
Even Reagan was not that old when he ran for his first term. One race I would find intriguing would be a Christie/Cuomo race, even though Christie will still wipe his ass with Cuomo at the debates . Those two men hate each other and I don't think there has ever been governors from adjoining states running against each other ( I could be wrong).

Hillary and naked should never be mentioned together.:thumbdown:vomit:I don't know about her loving the limelight, but her naked ambition has always been clear. "Eight years for Bill; eight years for Hill" has always been the plan.

Hillary will step down because the Benghazi facts will come out and the evil ***** is in it up to her eyeballs along with obama.
