Start of the Carnival Season on the 11th of November at 11 minuntes after 11 a. m.


Traditionally, the "fifth season" (carnival season) is declared open at 11 minutes past 11 on the 11th of the 11th month November. The Carnival spirit is then temporarily suspended during the Advent and Christmas period, and picks up again in earnest after 6 January, Epiphany, in the New Year.

Here in Germany the 11th of November has started.
 
The Carnival Season has now officially started here!
And how is it like where you live?
 
Around Christmas nobody talks of Carnival.
It will be not before the 6th of January when the season really starts.

Or what's left of Carnival in times of Corona.
 
The 6th of January has now come and gone!
