Stacy Abrams - A Baby’s 6 week Heart Beat is a Manufactured Sound

Is Abrahms really this stupid or does she just think her constituents are?

Is Abrahms really this stupid or does she just think her constituents are?
well, we already know WHICH constituents are really stupid and it ain't her's.
hint: when someone posts a youtube video taking just a snippet of what someone said, best to do some research to see if the video is being honest (by checking other sources for example) before jumping in with both feet and landing where the OP landed.

A 12 second snippet without the context of what was said before or after.

There is a sucker born every minute, I think someone said that once :ROFLMAO:

Yes, they need to smarten up and go nuke some hurricanes or stick some bleach up their behinds or something.

Stupid people don't know how to use a search engine in 2022.
youtube videos, especially ones only showing 12 seconds, are much more enlightening :ROFLMAO:

But the heart is far from fully formed at this stage, and the "beat" isn't audible; if doctors put a stethoscope up to a woman's belly this early on in her pregnancy, they would not hear a heartbeat, Aftab told Live Science. (What's more, it isn't until the eighth week of pregnancy that the baby is called a fetus; prior to that, it's still considered an embryo, according to the Cleveland Clinic.)

Although a lot of weight seems to be put on the detection of this flutter, "by no means does it translate to viability of the heart" or viability of the pregnancy, Aftab said.
So, she's correct. What's the problem?

SCIENCE, not Greg Abbot says you get the beginnings of a heartbeat at about 13-14 weeks. The plumbing to generate a heartbeat is not developed enough at 6 weeks.

She’s ignoring the science. A manufactured sound?

So disgusting
No, she’s really that stupid and the walrus sit and nod.
Why the vitriol? Did you even check to see if there was any validity to her comment or did you just jump to rage because someone in the media told you to be upset?

The interesting aspect of the whole heartbeat argument as seen from the Anti-choice. anti-reproductive rights crowd is that it was at least a stab at a science based concept....utterly flawed and WRONG but still at least a stab. That was quickly overcome by the "beliefs" crowd within that contingent that poses the concept that we should trade away the personhood rights of a woman for personhood rights of a zygote. Presto.......conception....personhood....an utterly ridiculous concept if there ever was one.

Keep your beliefs in the pews of your chapel and out of my daughter's abdomen thank you very much.

Heartbeats in humans produce thump-thump sounds caused by the opening and closing of the heart's valves.

"At six weeks of gestation, those valves don't exist," she told the news site.

"The heart of an embryo starts to beat from around 5–6 weeks of pregnancy. Also, it may be possible to see the first visible sign of the embryo, known as the fetal pole, at this stage."

"A fetal heartbeat may first be detected by a vaginal ultrasound as early as 5 1/2 to 6 weeks after gestation. That’s when a fetal pole, the first visible sign of a developing embryo, can sometimes be seen."

Why is this a debate?
Yes its all there...all at once. You need valves and a pump to generate a heartbeat. They are not there at six weeks. Simple enough for you or do you need cartoons as Donnie would.
