Spy caught in Italy

Apparently a Italian navy officer was caught selling secrets to Russia.

Dude, betraying your country for just €5000 is so not worth it.
But I will say this, this was old school. Just swapping documents during a clandestine meeting, in person. That's some Cold War sh*t.

And yes, of course a bunch of Russian diplomats were expelled.
(And seriously, did they really not think they'd be caught).

Too many camera's and technology these days to think about going old school. I'd bet the spy had a cell phone on him or was in a modern vehicle with GPS tracking. If they're going to go old school it has to be 100% or don't bother.
