I was just at this show were a guy did the whole spoon bending thing.
The trick is where he puts a strait spoon flat in the palm of his hand, gives his other hand to an audiance member and then suddenly the spoon starts to rise.

Im dying to know the scientific explenation for this, thanks.

Criss Angel, from Mindfreak often does this stunt. He even did it on Foxnews, and from his interview with Penn Jilette he would say:

Its not magic, im working my a** off here. If I really had powers I would be out curing disease, helping people, or working with scientists to explain these "unnatural phenomena." But no, instead, is this your card?

It worked for me. It, like other illusions, are not supernatural. They prep the spoons. They are nothing more than slight-of-hand charlatans.
