“Welcome to orbit,” SpaceX Launch Control radioed, noting liftoff occurred four years to the day after the capsule’s first orbital test flight. “If you enjoyed your ride, please don’t forget to give us five stars.”

I wonder how many millions Musk made off of this launch?

A US, Russian, and UAE astronaut? Must have been an either a really interesting conversation or very awkward small talk on the way up.

I hope he earned quite a bit, since he provided a useful service to three different countries. Is the moral of this achievement supposed to be that he shouldn't have made any money?

It's always interesting to me that people will pay him money, and then be surprised when he uses that money to entertain himself.

I dunno, he's providing a useful service that the US and Russian governments are barely able to provide themselves, and that the UAE government certainly can't provide itself. I see no reason not to pay him money to do something cool better and cheaper than anyone else. I hope SpaceX continues to develop their space capabilities.

I do think it is awesome that we can be working together for science and the future with countries such as Russia and the UAE…even when politically things aren’t very good.

Add in a priest and you got the makings of a good joke
I’ll give it a shot without the priest.

A Russian, an American, and United Arab Emirates' astronaut walk onto a space capsule.

Nobody says anything for fear of starting WWIII.

Does your employer worry about how you spend your money ?

Most do to some extent and even test you randomly to make sure you’re not spending cash on what they don’t want you doing
