Eh, he did a good job for being Biden. He’s not a prolific speaker and made the expected mis-speaks.

Just once, I’d like the SOTU to not be effectively a campaign speech though.

The timing of the CDC to lift the mandates just before the State of the Union is amazing.
Of course the CDC acted on the science and nothing to do with politics.
After all it's an election year.

If the world was serious about wanting to stop Russia they would stop the energy and institute and entire removal from SWIFT. Half measures don't work, but western nations aren't willing to endure that kind of economic turmoil for Ukrainians.

Cut the price? Wages are up over 5%, goods and services are up over 5%, transportation costs are through the roof and business need to cut the price of their products and services. How many do you think will survive? Price go up because the cost of during business is on the rise.
I don't want to hear about profits of the large companies. The majority of the business in the country are small businesses. They employ the majority of the people in the country. They don't have large profits like Amazon who profited from government lockdowns.

I'm glad they're talking about drug prices. I'm working here in the Philippines for a few months. I forgot my blood pressure meds. In the U.S. they cost $300 for 30 pills. Fortunately, insurance covers most of that cost. Here in the Philippines, I bought the exact same medication for $15.

Drug prices are totally out of control in the U.S. and something needs to be done about it.

Trump didn't tell people to drink bleach. He suggested disinfectants and UV light as a cure for COVID which is in itself laughably absurd if you're smarter than a 5th grader.

Trump is just a clown who claims whites are being put "in the back of the line" for COVID vaccines and Putin is a savvy genius. Then there are people like you who desperately try to gaslight us into believing Trump didn't say what he clearly said.

These mandates especially for kids should have been lifted months ago.
My grandchildren are still snotting and splitting in cloth masks in NYS.

Unmistakably signs, ie: virtue signaling, won't save Ukraine.
Acting early, using deterrents before invasion (and yes, incursions, too) and rallying Europe BEFORE Putin committed to take Ukraine, could have prevented this slaughter.

The flags, scarfs and stickers for Ukraine were ridiculous. More profoundly stupid than sending blankets.
