In order to not violate the DP Fair Use Rule (2 medium sized paragraphs - a murky metric at best) I limit each paragraph in the text box to 5 lines each. This formula seems to keep me out of Fair-Use trouble.

But I've noticed something since the xF switchover. I'll compose an OP - let's say 2 paragraphs of 5 lines each - and double check this formula in the Preview window.

Then I click submit. But when the OP is published, the Preview window 5 line paragraphs have somehow grown into 5½ line paragraphs. In other words, bleeding into a 6th line.

So I have to Edit the OP immediately and remove material to once again have two 5 line maximum paragraphs.

Any idea why this content lengthening between Preview window and the submitted OP occurs?

I get it - if one goes over slightly, it is likely not an issue. It's when full or near full content is posted that the content owner might reach out to us to take it down.

We are testing a new version of Xenforo that has some improvements to the text entry area and the change notes say that previews will be much more accurate to what will be posted.
Hopefully it will fix this issue.

Thank you sir - your response is much appreciated.
