Let's admit it. We all listen to some songs that we would be at least slightly embarrassed to admit we like. I took quite a ribbing on another site for my musical tastes. These are probably the most embarrassing for me:

Hilary Duff's "Come Clean" (Really, this is a very good song)
Stacie Orrico's "Stuck on You"
Toto's "Africa"

I'll take the most heat for the second one, I suspect. Orrico really has too good a voice for watered down pop. Her voice is far better than the lyrics that are written for her. Okay, it's your turn.

"Unbreak my heart" - Tony Braxton

Don't you DARE tell anyone.

Don't worry; I won't tell anyone. To be honest, I'd never heard of that song before. I was expecting a larger number of responses- if only to rib me about the three songs that I mentioned. I'll listen to the songs that others confess to liking if they'll listen to the three that I admitted to enjoying. (Use the audio search features of search engines and web organizers.)

"Cry Me a River" -- Justin Timberlake

Also, I very much like Kylie Minogue's songs.

I just listened to the song that you mentioned, vauge. I've never been a fan of urban contemporary music, but Braxton's song is passable (IMO). (I know: Who am I to talk?) I have a feeling that to keep my little bargain I'll have to listen to much worse.

I listened to that Timberlake song. You really owe me for that (just kidding).

It Must've Been Love by the Bengals or Heart or someone along those lines.

I have nothing but hate for that song. I think it was a one hit wonder who sang it.

Here's another embarrasing song I like:

"Over and over again" -- Nelly with Tim McGraw.

Unbreakable - Alicia Keys

Not easy being me - whoever the hell wrote it.

Laffy Taffy - D4L (that song makes me laugh, what can I say?)

Has anyone listened to Stacie Orrico's "Stuck on You" or Hilary Duff's "Come Clean" yet? You've probably already heard Toto's "Africa". It's fair; I listened to the Braxton and the Timberlake songs.

Here's an interesting question: Which of us will have to pay the most in blackmail if someone finds our real names? (LOL)

Oh, I don't mind if people find out, its just all the crap you have to go through afterwards.

"Man, you listen to that song?!"
"Screw you it's a good song"
"Hahaha, whatever man, that song sucks"
"Shut the hell up bob, I know for a fact that you listen to the first britney spears album religiously"
**silence**

Has anyone listened to my songs yet- or does no one have the courage? ;)

Bonnie Tyler 1983. I'm ashamed to say that I enjoy that song as well.

Pieces of Me Ashlee Simpson
and,
Some songs off the Grease Soundtrack....I should be flayed for that.

Should I be embarrassed that I like Firehouse's "Love of a Lifetime"?

I think you should be. Just remember, never tell that to anyone who knows you. All respect for you will quickly be lost.:2razz:

With "Love of a Lifetime", "Come Clean" and "Africa", the song was better than the singer. With "Stuck on You", the singer was better than the song.

I have lots of Carpenters songs in a special folder in my WMP library. I especially like Rainy Days and Mondays. What's even worse, I know all the words to them and I sing along....:doh

I also like Hilary Duff's "Come Clean" music video. Is that the most embarrassing confession yet?
