First of all, the only reason we know about these rotten pigs killing this man is because phones are ubiquitous, and phones are ubiquitous because they are cheap, and they are cheap because of capitalism and markets. Socialism is what killed him, capitalism is what brought his murder to light.
Secondly, this event will change nothing. How police operate is controlled by politics, and when decisions are controlled by politics, the politically powerful tend to get their way. The police unions are extremely politically powerful. You're not.
Lastly, nobody in the entire rotten government wants any sort of change. Trump and the Republicans luv the police, and Democrats luv the money they get from police unions. The system is functioning as intended.
Ain't democracy grand?
You have some good points.
Every 4 years or so there's a riot and the reason revolves mostly around police brutality.
I'd like to see a bunch of young black men apply for police positions in black neighborhoods. They can see for themselves how tough policing is.
We have 140,000 police in this country. If 1% makes a mistake per year, that's 14,000 mistakes.
Math is hard. 1% is 1400. And Soldiering is hard too. Did it for over 20 years. Didn't make that 1 mistake and neither did any of my Soldiers. I'll actually take that back, doing the right thing, having courage and integrity isnt actually all that hard.
Soldiers don't do police work, usually.

My issue is that rather than make the issue simply about police brutality (which is a major problem) some seem to want to divide the country and make it about racism when the statistics simply don't back that conclusion. Police brutality and the hundreds killed every year should be something that unites us into one cause rather than divide.
