Socialist star Ocasio-Cortez strikes out: All endorsed candidates lose Tuesday primaries - The American MirrorThe American Mirror

The new face of the DNC, losing.

I'm sorry, I think it's hilarious how much attention she got for winning a primary with so little people having voted in it as meaning anything.

Seems her 15 minutes of fame have gone down the toilet! Bye bye!
The establishment democrats are glad to see this happen.

OC needs to go in search of the elusive Soccer Mom.
Do they even make mini vans anymore?:lamo

She’s won fewer than 16,000 Dem votes thus far. She shouldn’t be weighing in on other primaries or trying to make a national splash, she should be pounding the pavement in the district she aspires to represent.

Were the people she endorsed outside shots before her endorsement? I doubt endorsements really make that much of a difference regardless of who it is.

The bright spotlight is hard to resist.
I don't think OC was aiming for this national attention, but she's an attractive, young face of the socialist, leftist faction of the Democratic party and the some in the Dem party wanted to capitalize on her newly-minted notoriety and see if she could propel their agenda and buoy their popularity.
I think in the end, OC was/is a test balloon for 2020. Kind of feel out reaction to the socialist platform by presenting it with a face that's easy to look at.

As it turns out, the problem comes when she opens her mouth.

Her interviews on Firing Line and a few other places were cringe worthy.

The socialist message basicially states to go against your own self interests in good of the community.

Do liberals really expect families living paycheck by paycheck to fork over their money to pay for free housing for the homeless, free tuition for Trump's son, and more hand outs to the poor?

The message is poor and quite frankly goes against our human nature. We are hunters. We want to survive and provide for our families.

The socialist message is basically denying our human instincts and embracing an ideology that makes us worse off, as citizens and humans.

She’s a media creation. Sure she pulled off a big upset in a single party district. She’s 28 and doesn’t appear all that savvy. If she does have any smarts, she’ll find an “establishment” mentor and figure out how to get to the Hill without her entire caucus hating her.

I think she is a very good person and actually very sweet. However her political ideology is an abomination and she is way over her head. She is a bimbo. Just because you read Adam Smith doesn't make you an expert on the economy.

She kind of reminds me of a lot girls I knew back in college. Extremely good intentions however obviously naive.
