...and I'm totally screwed!

I somehow managed to draw 8th pick from the hat............and there are only 8 of us who do this...........oy

the one silver lining is everyone left me the seahawks (I grew up in hawk country, so they were just being nice) but otherwise I have the texans, the chargers and the browns

may as well leave my wallet on the counter eh??

*sigh*

so is there anyone who wants to fill me full of lies today?? I could use some hope lol

Those are all very good teams, the Seahawks especially. The Browns were one player away from making the playoffs, the Texans just signed some really good talent, and the Chargers are usually right there in the thick of things.

Sadly though, the Bears will own everyone this year, so you're screwed.;)

Yes, the Bears, the same Bears that were in the playoffs last year, and with a back up QB for the entire season. The Bears with one of the best defenses in the league last year, and has only gotten better this year. The same Bears who now have two great healthy QB's, Grossman and back up Griese.

You will have wished you'd gotten them, mark my words.;)

God damn Bears got spanked by the Niners last night, but I'm not too worried about that right now. Preseason and all. Bears the only team with all twenty-two starters returning. Griese is an excellent fail-safe for Grossman and Horton can be depended on to pull out some solid play, not great, but solid.

If we can get our running game to work then our offense should be able to pass the ball with a little more freedom. Superbowl!!!

You all are kidding yourselves.

Raiders got Art Shell back and we Oakland natives have been waiting.

Well, on second thought, at least it looks like Oakland will get into the playoffs...in baseball. Go A's

Damn straight, we did it(playoffs) without any passing last year, so I am excited about our season this year.;)

Deegan my friend, we agree on a lot of politcal issues but we part company on this one........The Browns stunk last year...........They finished last in the AFC North..In the last game of the Season the Steelers beat them 43-0........They were a whole team away from making the playoffs and are picked for last in their division this year too.......

Pre season means absolutely nothing......I can remember one year when the Steelers went 0-4 in the pre season they won the Super Bowl......Sorry to break your bubble.......

Are all Bears fans this clueless?

First off, the Texans finished last year as the worst team in the league. They are now basically starting over with a new coach and a new system. They will likely be one of the worst teams again this year.

The Browns are the same story. Horrible last year. Their OL looks just awful this year. The only thing they have going for them is that they are entering year two of a new coaching staff. Still, they will need to fight pretty hard to not finish last in the division. As for playoffs, I think Jim Mora knows a thing or two about their playoff chances. I guess if they played in the Bears division they would have a chance.

Well Bears fans are certainly clueless as to what is going on with the offense this pre-season, but other then that, no. I was referring to the Seahawks and the Chargers when I said "very good teams" but yes, it only takes one great player to change the dynamics of a good team, and have them become great. If the teams I mentioned, aquire the folks they were supposed to, then both will have much better seasons this time around. Bears fans actually know more then most, about how long it takes to actually put together a Super Bowl quality team, and we are almost there after years of hard work. The Bears do have a weak division, and that certainly does not bother me, just get us in the playoffs, and hopefully this defense will show their strength when it really counts.

I have high hopes this year, I just hope everyone stays healthy, and we get this offense on the right path.

I have to say, the patriots are really hot this year so far..........same for the bengals.............both have played some really great pre-season games

Not a problem......Glad to help but again I would put to much on how a team does in the exhibition season........

StL...do or die...but I admit they are a big question mark this season.

My gut instinct? 8-8, and missing the playoffs.
