Th latest round of riots for Taylor is just another example in the long list.

Spreading the false narratives that cops are gunning after blacks disproportionately is what has stoked this violence, it’s been shown over and over here the statistics do not back up the narrative.

And time and again the media prints false claims about these events early on, stoking the angers and violence. And like the emperor’s new clothes, they will not admit their mistakes when new facts come out, because it means people died and property damaged was done on lies. And they just can’t admit that.

There is no doubt cops need reforming. But it effects everyone. The racial aspect is minimal at best.

And sadly, inner city black conditions will only be worse when the dust settles on all this. How people can’t realize that is baffling.

Business and money will drift further a way from potential Riot “hot spots”. Green flight will happen. It will include successful blacks getting sway from the crazies.

What businesses stay will have to charge more, to compensate for higher security, insurance etc. So the poor now will get a “riot tax” to further make life difficult.

You admit reform is needed but blame "liberals".

Why make this partisan?

What happened should make everyone angry. There is NO excuse for violence. However, the fact that not everyone is angry makes the violence predictable.

Reform is needed ,but not for the fake racist narrative constantly asserted in media.

Denying it doesn't make it not a reality for many Americans.

I am mad too that cops have problems, and teachers, and politicians etc etc.

That isn’t a remote reason to riot, or even protest IMO. Yes we should talk about it, let politicians know it bothers us. Why haven’t these cities better trained cops? They have had decades.

What is an appropriate reason to protest, if not being innocent and getting shot dead by law enforcement?

Like it or not:
- Too many guns in this country .....way way way too many guns and the fallacy of the responsible gun owner existing to such a degree to offset the actual number of guns has been blown to bits by events in Detroit and Kenosha and Louisville and at the corrupt headquarters of the NRA. People patrolling the streets under the Militia Moniker ARE NOT responsible gun owners. They are vigilantes.
- Systemic racism exists in this country......to still be unwilling to acknowledge it at this point makes one as obtuse as those that still refuse to acknowledge human contribution to Climate Change, maybe more obtuse
- We have horrific levels of bad policing in this country now and since Police mainly operate from fear and white men (WASPs) in this country have always tended to fear black and brown people and because Police tend to operate as teams, the combination of horrifically bad policing and fear has resulted in a very particular Law Enforcement version of systemic racism. That "raid" on Ms Taylor's home NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED in the first place. George Floyd NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. Insert myself as a white suspect in any of dozens of Law Enforcement confrontations with non-whites that happen every day and what transpires NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.

There....NOW you have a premise to go forward and make changes.

Um, no, climate change has actual science behind it. The false claims that cops are targeting blacks for death disproportionately does not. This has been clearly shown here many times using FBI statistics. .

No it hasn’t. You have cherry picked specific contexts, and when challenged on it, you then mix and match data sets.

No one has claimed cops are purposely trying to murder Black people. There just is no consequence for doing so, thus it’s functionally the same.

I did no such thing, I can walk you through it again if you like, right in front of the lurkers.

And there’s is no more consequence when they murder whites either.

Both cases though are rare, despite the false narrative.

Who said "targeting American Blacks". I don't remember making that claim in my post. That said, what is racial profiling if not providing justification for targeting? Profiling is culling and sorting by some standard in this case race based hence RACIAL PROFILING. Once you are culling and sorting as a Law Enforcement practice, the results are virtually inevitable. That said, nothing I posted suggested targeting. I am happy YOU brought it up though as it allowed me to make an additional point.

210,000 COVID deaths are on Republican hands.

If you wish to repeatedly enshrine how badly you understand statistics, by all means. The lurkers can walk *you* through it this time.

Yeah, I don’t really think arguing that police have the power to just murder anyone would suggest Black people are safer because of it. All stats show systemic bias in police departments.

It is not people of color. It is poor people. While there are gang affiliations among black and brown youths, it is the overriding fact of poverty that drives it all. Police spend more time patrolling poor hoods and so make more arrests in poor hoods. Mostly for low level drug charges. The fact is they could go across town and patrol upper class hoods, and make similar arrests. But they don't. Because they can't.
In New York, stop and frisk ended up a low level drug charge for 90% of people. You don't think, that if they had taken that uptown and hit the sidewalks at 2 AM they wouldn't have gotten the same or more?

All for legalizing drugs, yep. But the race narrative if fake.

You are actually making the case for the existence of systemic racism whether you intend to or not. Look at the statistics for non-white vs white wealth, home ownership, career earnings. Look at red lining for Pete sake. Poor neighborhoods unless in isolated, segregated environments (Appalachia comes to mind) invariably end up predominantly minority neighborhoods. That said, it should be clear that there is a segment of white society now that is being significantly depressed by lack of education and the resulting lack of opportunity. They are a new minority all their own. But guess what.....you don't see cops patrolling those white neighborhoods either though there is as much mayhem going on there as you can find anywhere.

A year ago .... even 5 months ago. There were no riots.

For Democrats to say that their hands are clean of these violent, psychopathic (anti police) riots is at this point completely laughable.

Any idiot can release some murder stats and claim the bias doesn’t exist. Why do they think that if the abuse doesn’t result in death, then
It doesn’t count?

You have got to be kidding. Between 1955 and 1978 there were about 38 race protests in this country, some of them fill blown riots and another 40 between 1978 and today. It has been an almost unbroken string of race unrest once Black Americans found their voice and began to throw off the yoke left them by 400 years of slavery. There has been fewer from 1979 to the present mainly due to the period in the 80's when Black Americans had some role models that mattered to them and mattered to many White Americans,

Muhammed Ali is likely the most influential Black American to have ever lived out the 20th Century, more influential than even MLK. But now we have a racial arsonist in the WH and more scared crapless WASP's than at any time certainly in the later half of the 20th Century. The entire 21st Century can be described by hair and pants on fire White Americans going crazy egged on by stone cold racial arsonists like Donald Trump. Now they are gun totting hair and pants on fire White Americans under the guise of Militias roaming our streets with AR-15's looking for trouble.
