Hypothetically...

Let's pretend for a second that 90% of Black voters have been fooled for going on 50 years now into voting for Democrats election after election. Let's just pretend for a second that Trump is right, and black people are being fooled.

If this were true...

Why can't White Republicans outsmart the White Liberals who have managed to manipulate 90% of African American voters for the last 5 decades +?

<sarcasm>
I mean how smart can white liberals be?
They're clearly making a mistake too right?
They're foolish enough to support Socialism after all so how exactly have these White Liberals managed to win the war for the minds of African Americans?

Why after 50 long years have the clearly intellectually superior and not racist at all White Republicans failed to outsmart White Liberals and save African Americans from the "Democratic Plantation?"

It doesn’t.

The reason inner city black people believe white people are the source of their problems is the same reason why some rural white people think immigrants are the source of their problems and the inner city is nothing but a jungle of crime. A politician told them so.

Perspective and rhetoric. Most people are selfish and ignorant. They don’t read much and they not travel far from their home. They have no idea how other people live outside their bubble and they accept what they are told.

Because Republicans just can compete with Gov freebies

It's as simple as that

In this case it has nothing to do with public education but rather the Gov dole $$$$

You say it affects white Americans and black Americans equally,
But black Americans overwhelmingly support the Democrats over the GOP.
A much larger percentage of black Americans support the Democrats than of white Americans.
The divide among white Americans is more evenly split.

So, your assertion doesn't jibe with the facts as they are.

Simply Blacks are twice as likely to be on the Gov teat than whites

They're also the minority(reminder)

Let's suppose your theory about blacks feeling represented by the democratic party is true. Why in this sample for example, do you explain that a majority of people that identify as conservative/independent and align on social-political issues, vote 80% democrat?

Here's a good reason to why
Notice that they're NOT stealing a good pair of work boots?
The recorded actions of these individuals somehow indicate why, "Simply Blacks are twice as likely to be on the Gov teat than whites"?

I'm not clever enough to discern the lesson you are trying to teach me.
Can you make the lesson more explicit?

The reality is that Trumps economy offered that opportunity and prior to the economic shutdown forced by a global pandemic, it was working. Was it well recognized? No...and certainly not acknowledged by the leftists. But it was working. We had the lowest unemployment in minority communities in history...and unlike the previous administration, those people were actually working, not just dropping off roles. Wages were up, new business start-ups were up. So the success was there...it just wasnt recognized, nor would it ever be recognized, because the leftist machine doesnt care about facts, nor about progress.
I agree with this.
Sorry, but this is just nonsense.

The "Trump economy" was literally nothing more than the Obama economy, continued.

Employment and Unemployment rates LITERALLY continued on the same 6 year tend Trump inherited from Obama.

The "all-time low" UE rate (for African-Americans) under Trump was simply a continuation of the "near-all-time-low" he inherited from Obama in Jan 2017.

Median Household Incomes LITERALLY continued on the 6 year trend Trump inherited from Obama.

GDP growth under Trump has essentially continued the general 6 year trend Trump inherited from Obama (i.e. growth rate between 2.0% and 2.9%)

The S&P 500 LITERALLY continued on the same 6 year upward trend Trump inherited from Obama, except for the semi-regular volatile DIPS created by Trump's tweets and tariff wars, of course.

And speaking of TRADE, the U.S. Trade Deficit has WORSENED under Trump, in spite of (or, actually BECAUSE of) Trump's moronic trade war with China.

In addition, BUSINESS INVESTMENT has dramatically DECLINED under Trump, in sharp contrast to the consistent yearly improvement Trump inherited from Obama.

Overall, the so-called "Trump Economy" is little more than the story of broken promises and of Trump riding the Obama wave that he inherited...and in some cases, screwing it up. In other words, Trump's legacy on the economy has been a non-stop, 3 year political campaign to steal credit from the Obama administration.

Most people understand these things. Unfortunately (for you people) most white conservatives are not "most people".

HEre is the problem. Right wingers talk a lot about how simply removing free stuff, will give folks a choice, work or starve, and they feel most will scrap, to stop from starving. They NEVER vote to teach a black man to fish. They simply use it in condescending analogies.

*yawn* yes it is nonsense.
The economy started taking off when it looked like trump was going to win the election.
For the last 4 years it has had nothing to do with obama but trump actually passing laws and
getting rid of obama draconian regulations that inhibited actual growth and expansion.

Where businesses were flailing under obama they were expanding under Trump.

Most people understand these things. Unfortunately (for you people) most white conservatives are not "most people".

more lies from the left and here i thought they hated lies?
i guess not.

YOu will not find a conservative that is against social helping. Social helping is supposed to be meant as an emergency in case something happens to you and there comes a point of time that
something is out of your control.

It was not meant as a lifestyle on which people are permanently getting help from the government.

We understand that sometimes things happen outside your control.

The brookings institute says you need to do 3 things to make it to middle class.

1. Complete high school and go to trade school or at least get a 2 year degree.
2. Don't have a kid out of wedlock
3. Get a full time job.

Nationwide, black students graduated at a rate of 69 percent; Hispanics graduated at 73 percent; whites graduated at a rate of 86 percent

when you have 31% of your high school age kids not graduating high school that is a major problem when it comes to future wealth generation.
also by not graduating high school they are more likely to be involved in crime or other illegal activities.

this is cultural and choice based. you don't see this in hispanics, white and even asians.
91% of asian kids graduate high school.

They are also becoming one of the wealthiest classes of people out there.
For an asian to get into a upper league college they have to score almost double what a black student has to score to get in.

The economy started taking off when it looked like trump was going to win the election.
As my previous links PROVED, this is just ignorant lie. Rather than rebut the FACTS I've posted, your response is the typical anti-intellectual deflection we always get from you.

The stock markets are not the economy. You don't understand that, clearly.

The Trump economy was NOTHING more than a continuation of the Obama economy.

Nothing more need be said about that idiotic argument.

For the last 4 years it has had nothing to do with obama but trump actually passing laws and
getting rid of obama draconian regulations that inhibited actual growth and expansion.
ANOTHER ignorant, objectively false FakeNews talking point.

You and I both know you can't provide ANY evidence of "draconian regulations" that were repealed which then contributed one penny to economic growth.

And we both know that almost EVERY leading economic measure (as I've already...which you are afraid to address) proves that Trump has done nothing but ride Obama's coattails.

Where businesses were flailing under obama they were expanding under Trump.
Proof?

Or we'll just agree that this is another empty-headed LIE that you picked up from your favorite fakenews source, ok

WHy are you being racist?
:lamo
Racist?

Refuting your ignorant opinions with FACTS isn't being racist. It's actually a public service! Do you believe that ignorant white people have special privileges which allow their ignorant opinions and bigoted views to go unchallenged?

Enough with the ignorant white victimhood stuff. Stop being such a snowflake.

Ever and always with leftists. Sure...it failed when Obama did it but when its successful when Trump was in office OBAMA did it. Unless of course it DOESNT work in which case Trump did it.

Mindless leftists are mindless.

Hmmm...

Could it be that Republicans are for less welfare spending and (allegedly) more fiscal conservatism?

I'm not saying they practice what they preach.

However, Democrats seem to be pushing lots of giveaways via "Democratic Socialism," reinforcing dependency.

Example: Which Party keeps talking about "Reparations?" (hint: It's not the one starting with the letter "R.")

In short, give a man a fish and he'll just keep taking the free fish as long as you are willing to give it. In fact, once used to a certain level, he might start demanding MORE, as a "civil right."

No need to make the effort to learn how to fish as long as someone is willing to give you all the fish you want.

All you have to do is keep voting for the people promising all the free fish.
I'm not sure you appreciate how inherently and offensively racist that post is.

<sarcasm>

</sarcasm>
Exactly

I have stated multiple times on this forum. If the GOP wants African American votes go get them, no one is stopping a Republican from campaigning in African American Communities. Republicans would rather cry about something they put zero effort into and blame the Democrats.

Spoken like a true liberal and very telling.

And the answer is because we aren't willing to lie to Black people and treat them like hapless pawns just for their votes. Because WE BELIEVE in what Dr. King said; to judge on the content of character and treat everyone as people who are potentially equal to share from the same benefits of hard work and good choices.

Based on that comment, I not sure you appreciate how "inherently and offensively racist" it is.

1. I am a Black American, and according to Leftist Dogma I cannot possibly be racist. Only White people (i.e. those who control "The System") can be racist. (Sarcasm). In fact, I was offering a rational opinion which is in no way racist. (Truth).

2. Not all Black Americans support the idea of "reparations," and if you think otherwise then IMO you need to do your research. (More Truth).

3. Your response is among the typical snap-judgements designed to attack the person, and not their arguments I've discussed regarding the tactics of "Moral Panic." It's sole purpose is to denigrate one's opponent while asserting the moral superiority of one's own position.

Tagline time. :coffeepap:

Do blacks have to be appealed to? Are they needing special favor from the Sugar Daddy? I thought they were people like everyone. Party's make their case on policy and people vote accordingly. Unfortunately blacks fell for the condescending bullcrap of the democrat party. Blue cities, blue states, same urban hell on earth. Crime, no jobs, broken families, failed schools, drugs murder, chaos. After 50 years you would think blacks would reconsider the democrat utopia. Blacks like third world immigration are just a voting power bloc. Perhaps the high abortion rates the left loves will lower the future pain.

So, your assertion doesn't jibe with the facts as they are.
So it appears the democrats have been effectively controlling blacks and their thought process. Is it the victim / oppressor propaganda or a life of free stuff.
