I lived in the South for almost 1/2 my life. We were poor and lived with the black people. As a toddler up until first grade I lived in a black neighborhood. I only had 2 white friends all the rest were black and I didn't know there was a problem. It wasn't until I moved back up North where my parents were raised that I was supposed to be prejudice from a predominantly liberal area. It always makes me laugh when I hear how liberals are not prejudice when I know for a fact that is so far from the truth. So I finished school in an all white liberal area that was the most prejudice people I ever knew. See my experience in the South was living in Harmony with Black people. They were my friends, they were my favorite babysitter, they were the grown ups who we got together with and had Barbeques.

I have learned from living in many different parts of the country that the prejudice is widespread and there is just as much hate in the North, East, and West. Ignorance seems to be the key factor not color of the skin or party affiliation. I have know a lot of Black and Hispanic people there were every bit as prejudice as White people.

I mean if you gave a poor starving person a fish, I'm sure they'd take it, but I'm willing to bet that if you offered to teach them how to fish they would love that too. So why won't they let Republicans teach them?

The great depression hit minority and black communities way harder than they did other ones even though

This is about the same time that republicans lost the black vote.

The reality is that Trumps economy offered that opportunity and prior to the economic shutdown forced by a global pandemic, it was working. Was it well recognized? No...and certainly not acknowledged by the leftists. But it was working. We had the lowest unemployment in minority communities in history...and unlike the previous administration, those people were actually working, not just dropping off roles. Wages were up, new business start-ups were up. So the success was there...it just wasnt recognized, nor would it ever be recognized, because the leftist machine doesnt care about facts, nor about progress.

Cost a dime, which although precious in the 30's and 40's, was still much less than cable or satellite today.

And, there was RADIO.

It is spread from one end of this country to the other. There is no particular place that is any better or any worse anymore. For the past 75 to 100 years people have been moving around the country more and more than any time in history. Which means the good and the bad are dispersed across this country. A lot of my Grandparents and great Aunts and Uncles never moved more than 50 miles if even out of the town they lived in. Now my parent and their brothers and sisters moved all over the country. They got divorced and remarried and I have so many relatives through marriage I can't even keep track where they all are. They move every few years following their job or military career. Look at the police problems. They are spread all across the country.

Brooks wasn't killed in some little town in Mississippi. These injustices are happening in all the major cities across the country which are under democrat leadership. Leadership is where this needs to start and where changes need to be made at the polls. We need to elect leaders who will look into and clean up the people in charge of these police departments. Instead it is the leaders we elect that are putting these idiots in charge that are doing nothing. We need judges that will make sure fair trials are conducted and sentencing is done fair and impartial. These judges are elected. Time for these protestors to vote if they want change. Local elections have less than 25% turnout in this country. That is only the people actually registered to vote. We don't need protesting and mayhem we need voters to elect good leaders.

The days when Ted Kennedy gets a slap on the wrist while a black man would still be sitting in prison if he had left the scene of a fatality accident and didn't bother to call the police need to end. Sorry to keep using Ted but that was one of the things that turned me away from the Democrat party. I know there are plenty of Republican leaders who have done the same and got the same preferential treatment.
