If the republican party doesn't react to his threatening the whole country with another shutdown if he doesn't get his way and declare a national emergency. Need I say more?

Sounds like cohen's father in law isn't the only one receiving 'cloaked' threats.

I think if tries another shutdown or maybe even a National emergency, the GOP leadership will send him a veto proof bill based on the latest promises from the Dems for more money for border security without a wall. I think they are tired of his stupidity nd do not want to go into the 2020 election having caused two shutdowns and all the problems for them it has created.

True but there is not witness tampering or obstruction charges lurking around this time.
