As long as the industrial revolution the GOP has been lap dogs for the rich and business and against anythig that impowers workers and I want to know why when those same institutions are responsible for the most part of this great recession. I say take them to the cleaners for outsourcing, laying off while making record profits. When will the right wing stand up for the common worker? Don't hold your breath.

Neither the GOP nor the Dems are standing up for the common working man. Both are complicit in allowing outsourcing and illegal labor to destroy the formerly prosperous US blue collar job market.

I am not saying you are wrong but every time someone tries to hold business accountable for their sins the right goes to bat for them just like during the BP oil spill. The GOP tried everything in the book to minimize the punishment they deserved.

Because you ignore the fact that after nearly 5 years of Obama, the goodie basket for business is as full as ever.

So, you are trolling Republicans instead of discussing the actual problem - which is that all our politicians are lap-dogs for contributions

.
In what way?

Funny how it's always the weakly-educated, slacker, work-as-little-as-I-have-to-crowd that demonizes the highly-educated, motivated, do-what-I-need-to-get-ahead crowd.

If that was true then how do you explain all those ignorant rednecks like Michele Bachmann or Louie Gohmert spewing stupid BS all the time. Last time I visited a red state I found plenty of lazy people who where conservative. If conservatives where so smart and educated then why do the believe God created the world in 7 days 40,0000 years ago when we all know the Earth is 4 billion years old? If conservatives where so smart then why did the Catholics try to burn Galiao at the stake for proving the bible wrong just like they did to Bruno. Yea conservatives are really smart. They have proven it throughout history. Oh did I mention the Salam witch trials and the McCarthy communist witch hunts. Yea the right wing is a real think tank not.

A person who is so focused on abusing drugs as you are, and who otherwise only spews nonsense like this, is hardly in a position to accuse anyone else of being “ignorant”. The BS that you constantly spew is at least a few orders of magnitude more stupid and ignorant than any that you've cited from others.

What about those right wing Jesus freaks that deny science? What is more backward thinking that that my friend? Do you drink? Do you smoke? Do you drink coffee? If so then you too are a drug user.

Quod erat demonstrandum.

And for the record, I'm a practicing Mormon (in other words, a “right wing Jesus freak”). As a matter of religious practice, as well as what I perceive as common sense, I do not use tobacco, alcohol, nor coffee. And the only “science” that I deny is the quasi-religion that that those on the far wrong insist on pushing under that name as if it has anything to do with genuine science. I come from a family that is heavily oriented toward genuine science. My father was a botanist and a, electronic technician, my brother is a professor of geology at a college in Texas, and I used to be a computer programmer/data analyst working in the field of underwater acoustics.

Of course, there's no reason to suppose that a drug-ravaged brain such as yours would even be able to conceive of the distinction between genuine science and the far-wrong quasi-religion of “science”.

So you are one of those backward thinking Jesus freaks who lets an invisable God tell you what to do. Way too many rules for this boy and by the way disn't Jesus turn the water into wine? Didn't Marten Luther brew beer? Didn't Budda smoke hashish? Didn't the Puritiants drink beer and scotch all the time? Even Billy graham drank coffee and coke. Carry Nation drank cocaine lace coka-cola whlie she was smashing booze. Did Joe Smith take some of mind altering drug to come up with some of the wild *** he thought up? I think so and you all believe him.

As much as you've permanently damaged your brain through all the years of drug abuse, it is probably no longer possible for you to achieve any state that could be fairly described as “sober”. If you ever were to somehow sober up, and while sober, go back and read all the crap like this that you write, I think you would be deeply humiliated.

I doubt it is a love affair but rather an appreciation for the source of every nickel of wealth in our society.

Most Republicans opposed TARP and most Democrats supported it.

er uh speckle, doesn't that contradict the lying republican narrative that Obama is an "out of control anti business socialist bent on destroying America (where he wasn't born)" ? seems like your narratives are contradicting each other. Oh that's right, to conservatives each thread is its own universe. In a thread about Obamacare or the economy he's an "out of control anti business socialist bent on destroying America (where he wasn't born)". In this thread he's just another "pro business anti average American worker lap dog of big business".

You don't add value with generic partisan assumptions. I don't have a narrative. You have never seen a post from me stating or even implying " "out of control anti business socialist bent on destroying America (where he wasn't born)".. We can have more productive discourse if you don't lump everyone into the 2 opposing extremist camps. I've given Obama compliments when he deserved them, defended his policies that I agree with and criticized those that I felt were wrong. Please put aside your presumptions and lets discuss each topic as a individual issue instead of falling into the Bad Liberal Bad Conservative routine. I'm about as non-partisan as it's even possible to be on this board.

When I say "after nearly 5 years of Obama, the goodie basket for business is as full as ever.", is this not the case? Do all those business tax breaks still exist? Do we still make ethanol? Do we still furnish free money to banks? When sequestration landed, did we cut back our billion dollar contracts for weapons we don't need or did we "save money" by canceling WH tours, eliminating various government services and laying off workers? Do I personally think Obama had control of all those? No, you can thank Obama and the Congress together.

What many of these discussions ignore is that we are in a recovery. All the skilled people I know have employment although many of them have been years without raises. Unemployment is very slowly diminishing. Many of our domestic weaknesses, particularly work fore the low-skilled, are caused by automation and globalization. This is not Obama's fault and the recovery is not to his credit. I doubt these problems are even repairable and that our economy will continue to grow, but that much of the money supply thats been created has gone to a very privileged few acerbating the "rich get richer" complaint.

If I'm wrong, please discuss what I'm wrong about and let go of your own incessant narrative. Thanks.

I apologize for not being clear. When I said "your narratives" I meant conservative narratives. Would you agree your post is the opposite of the common conservative narrative that "President Obama is an out of control anti business socialist bent on destroying America (where he wasn't born)"?

As far as your narrative goes, how do you fit Obamacare into it?

By what. Calling out backward thinking Jesus freaks who are members of the flat Earth society. Mormonism is a cult. Christianity has been taken over by right wing zealots and is ruining the word of Christ. There was a reason Joseph Smith was hung. He was crazy as a loon. I don't support hanging anybody but there was a reason. Writing your own bible takes alot of balls.

You're probably too stoned and brain-damaged to even being to comprehend the implications of what you are writing. Aside from some serious factual errors that any sober person would spot out right away, the most significant thing about what you've written here is that you're defending the idea that someone should be killed because of his religious beliefs. I guess it should be no surprise that your conscience is as damaged as your brain.

Coming from you, a statement calling anyone “crazy as a loon” is really rather meaningless.
