Brava
I noticed not very long ago that Americans take too much interest in Latin America and happen to step up the military presence in this region on the plea of struggle against drug trafficking and terrorism.

U.S. to lift ban on Latin American military training
"The United States to resume training militaries from 11 Latin American and Caribbean countries" (Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay).
Isn't it clear that the US merely aims to snatch control of main resources of this area? I mean oil deposits and water reserves. In point of fact the US has started a smooth re-colonization or rather intervention of Latin America. In point of fact, when Americans do military exercises in Latin America, they build up infrastructure which is especially noticeable at the between Columbia and Venezuela that is known to be in strict opposition to the US.
Honestly, I don't feel happy about this sort of intervention by the US. Can we do something to screen Latin American countries from this threat? I guess we can. First of all governments of Latin American countries must ban all sorts of military exercises by American troops in this area. This will make it ,ore difficult for Washington to gain a foothold here.
