Some may remember Sister Janet from her younger days as a Sister of Mercy at St Aloysius College. (An Australian Catholic Nun who was known for recording a rock version of "The Lords Prayer")

Her bond back then with her students was very evident. It was before my time but being Australian, I'm still familiar with Sister Janet's version.

Fast forward, she is now 82 years old and still walking the walk. She established Adelaide Day Centre in 1985 and is still actively involved. (A place that supports homeless men.)

Remarkable woman.

Amazing!

Sadly, Sister Janet passed away yesterday after devoting most of her life and working tirelessly to helping the homeless and disadvantaged. An incredibly powerful advocate for the most vulnerable.

RIP dear Lady. Thank you for your compassion.
