How many insurance-related job will be lost? More...or less...than the predicted 2.6 million new jobs?

And then there's the claim by fellow forum members that, in addition to the tax increase, you'll STILL have to buy a supplemental insurance policy to cover what Medicare doesn't. (Or just try to get by with Medicare alone.) Any guesses how much those extra policies will cost? Doesn't matter, it'll still be on top of the tax increases.

Oh...wait...THAT'S where all those insurance workers will be making their money, right? Selling supplemental insurance policies. Well...maybe some of the workers.

Single payer would be CRAP healthcare. Why do you have a problem with copays and deductibles? You are paying for services, same as any other product you consume. How does payment with my tax dollars make anything free? I should have the right for my tax dollars to pay for my insurance which is anything but free.

Then again you should have the right to continue paying out of pocket the more the better because it makes you feel so good. I am okay with you making that choice. Here is a perfect example of a conservative that is not fiscally responsible by choosing over priced health insurance......which in fact may not provide complete coverage aka under insured.
