Should turkey be booted out of NATO

It does not and would not pay to confuse Turkey with the present regime, no matter how popular that might currently be in Turkey herself. .

USA is such a country ? Weak and stupid ?

Weak and stupid huh.

Let's keep in mind who'd win a war between the US and Turkey before we start throwing around claims of "weakness" shall we,

Turkey is probably the most "Essential" member of NATO because of the Turkish Straits.

The two narrow straits in northwestern Turkey, the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles, that connect the Sea of Marmara with the Black Sea on one side and the Aegean arm of the Mediterranean Sea on the other.

The Montreux Convention Regarding the Regime of the Straits is a 1936 agreement that gives Turkey control over the Bosporus Straits and the Dardanelles and regulates the transit of naval warships.
Articles 20 and 21 of the 1936 Montreux Convention:
Article 20 - In time of war, Turkey being belligerent, the provisions of Articles 10 to 18 shall not be applicable; the passage of warships shall be left entirely to the discretion of the Turkish government.
Article 21 - Should Turkey consider herself to be threatened with imminent danger of war she shall have the right to apply the provisions of Article 20 of the present Convention.
If Turkey invokes either article, Russia is legally blocked from moving any military ship through the Straits. That is unless the Russians attack the Straits, and force a transit by military force, a clear act of war against Turkey.

- Turkey's defense spending as a share of GDP was 1.7 percent for the year 2015

- The combined defence and security budget is now TRY62.9 billion (USD21.2 billion), an increase of TRY10.4 billion in fiscal 2016 (FY 2016) compared with FY 2015.

I leave other facts that NATO needs Turkey more than otherwise; the figures are also reflecting a big market for USA-made weapons, and considering the inventory of Turkish army, it will be a huge loss for USA.

My stance here is that Turkey should leave the NATO, and look for alliance with Asian countries.

yeah but if turkey can provoke russia, then the US will have to declare war on russia

No way. The only thing that makes turkey a critical ally is the Bosporous straits.

Some one will give Egrodgan the boot or bullet.

The U.S. is a declining world power and throughout history no "economic power base" went down without a war. (Portugal, Spain and Britain as examples.)

So, of course there is war on the horizon as China takes it rightful place upon the world stage.
