Should our mainstream news sources be trusted?

LOL, just replied to a post of yours in another thread, saying about the same thing...Mainstream News is now entertainment. As such, the quality sucks.

Good answer here. If you can verify it from more than 2 other sources chances are it's good.
News sources should rarely be trusted because they don't exist to inform the public anymore, they exist to get ratings. It's been decades since news has been there simply to tell people what's going on. Now it's politically biased, ratings biased and out to make a buck.

Great responses, people. The combination of all of the above speaks volumes for the trust that most of us have in mainstream news sources.
***This is why everyone should tune in to Rush Limbaugh for 3 hours a day to get the real news, and to get it with an unbiased viewpoint.

He should really finish most of his sentences that way shouldn't he?
