Why is it that people like you who spent their entire lives supposedly "defending" America's freedom want to put barriers on who can and can't defend the U.S.? Pretty hypocritical isn't it?

If you had simply stopped to think for a moment you would have figured out that when creating a poll thread there is a few minutes from when the thread begins and the poll is posted along with it because it takes some time to create the poll and while the poll is being created the thread starting post appears on the board....

What does that have to do with anything? Like I've said many times becoming a soldier and then refusing to serve your country because you have a personal bias against some people based on their religion, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation is just as bad as being a traitor.

I never suggested or advocated anything of the sort. I'm simply trying to see if there are people in this Forum who believe that simply being Muslim is enough to prevent them from anything.

I'm sincerely curious about this poll. No doubt that there is a serious prejudice in this country against Muslims, American Muslims. There have been many threads here where many forum members wrote the most racist stuff you can imagine about other Americans...sickening but real.

So this thread and it's poll are designed to allow people to express their true feelings and to do so in a way that is basically anonymous and that allows their prejudices to be expressed. Chances are that they will enjoy expressing their racism and chances are that people like me will be sociologically interested in observing that sort of behavior.
