Are you even against birth control when it's prescribed for medical reasons, such as to treat endometriosis?

If you're having sex...yes. Hormonal BC can act as an abortifacient.

Think about it....if it were, we'd have even MORE abortions/unwanted pregnancies.

Many women take it for reasons other than as a contraceptive....why should they suffer because certain religious groups don't advocate its use?

I mean, other than for religious reasons, I don't see why a woman wouldn't use it if she didn't want to get pregnant or if her doctor prescribed it for other reasons.....

If it's because it helps prevent pregnancy, I understand, but never rely solely on a woman who says she's on birth control pills. I know plenty of men who have been told that, and it wasn't true.

LOL I'm female and I happen to agree with Right on this... it's is the next best invention, but in my case, it's so I don't have to suffer with ovarian cysts... which the only way to remove them is surgery. I'm quite content to take my pill a day... even though my tubes are tied, therefore pregnancy isn't an issue.

Society in this country would likely suffer greatly both economically, and emotionally as a result.
