The Police Department was investigating gunfire aimed at two uniformed officers in Brooklyn around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The department said no one was injured, and it was not clear how many shots were fired.

The Sergeants Benevolent Association said on Facebook that the two officers were on a foot patrol at Ditmas Avenue and East 23rd Street in the Flatbush-Ditmas Park area when a dark sedan with tinted windows slowly approached them, occupants “made a statement about getting them” and then opened fire.

The association said four men were in the vehicle. It was later found abandoned elsewhere in Brooklyn. No arrests had been made.

Sadly this won't make so much noise because no one died.

Well, thankfully no one lost their lives.
Yes, thank God for that. My heart is with the Thin Blue Line & their families as they do not know given what is happening, if they are coming home to their family and loved ones.

Should be easy enough to sort out who it is. All they need to do is pull in everyone who is licensed to carry in the city and do some interrogations.

Very true.. and of course the reason no one died is because in NY these guys are willing to shoot at the police but not willing to load more than 7 rounds in their magazines.

They don't want to violate that law.. don't you know.

Exactly. It has to one of those people. With all the progressive common sense gun control regulations, universal background checks, and licensing that NYC has on firearms, it couldn't be anyone else.

I wonder if it was a Gun Free Zone? Nah, couldn't have been.

And the War on Police continues.
