SHoould he January 6th defendents be pardoned

Donald Trump and several of the GOP congresspeople including Greene have suggest that the Janaury 6th defendents are being mistreated and should be pardoned. I suspect that Tucker Carlson will probably make the same suggestion after using and manipulating the January 6th videos to make the day look llike a picnic. So should those who are convicteed or who have pled guilty of wrong doing on January 6th be pardoned?

If Trump and his minions are not indicted, then we have decided that insurrections and trying to defraud elections are just fine, at least up to this point. So pardon them all and let them go home and plan the next one.

When is traitor trump going to be asked why he didn't pardon them when he could? Then pointing out that he was trying to help himself by not adding fuel to the fire for the Senate to convict him in his second impeachment?

He left office on 01-21-21. I think there were only a couple of indictments before then.

And we know he was embarrassed by his own footsoldiers.

It was absurd to call it a "coup attempt."

They could have proclaimed anyone president -- to no effect.

The United States Army would have surrounded the Capitol, and the tourists would have meekly left.

And how many of those commies that tried to burn down a Federal courthouse with people inside are in jail?
Our own VP posted bail for some of them.

If they are it will be the end of the Replican party. Most Americans know what they saw and no matter how Tucker spins it, they acted violently against the Capitol police and threatened the lives and safery of every federally elected American , except Trump, doing their constitutional duty.

No matter who or how this was instigated they broke the law and acted violently against the Capitol and the majority of Americans know that.

Clearly, you're not following the investigation. The armed police weren't enough to stop these violent terrorists. Why would they be meek in response to a military action?
