So, it's time to discuss the elephant in the room. If this woman was not able to gain access to a vehicle with a high rate of speed, high capacity gas tank, and had to pass a background check this could have possibly been avoided.

In all seriousness though, for some reason this woman snapped, she has died as a result of her injuries so that lowers the chances of figuring out why this happened. I've been worried for quite a few years about incidents happening because people have had enough of the abuse by D.C.

This is sort of my point. People need to realize that it should be no surprise that gun free zones are where these mass shootings occur. The shooters go there because they have no resistance and they know it.

I don't celebrate this, a woman lost her life, and a child was endangered as well as innocent civilians and responders. I would like to know if this was someone on the edge pushed by politics, or something more, not for the sake of waking anyone up, but to see if there is something that can be done to avoid incidents like this.

I thought that was a givin'! Seriously though. If we know politics, and the politicians who administrate it, they will fit this into an agenda of some kind which will probably result in a proposal to remove more of our rights. It sucks that she probably died for nothing. I hope her kid doesn't suffer the same fate as a lot of other orphans.

Well, if this was political I still blame the woman for taking things to this extreme, however, and this is an absolute warning to politicians; when people on the edge are pushed they snap, and people are getting pretty edgy these days.

She was black ... so this was obviously racial self-hate brought on by the Republican's shutdown which resulted in the closure of a special government funded program to instill confidence in minorities suffering from white oppression.

Obama was in the WH and he will issue an appropriate statement to that effect as soon as he changes his underwear.
