WASHINGTON -
President Bush said Monday that Iraqi prisoners held in secret detention centers apparently were beaten and tortured.
"This conduct is unacceptable," Bush said in a speech in Philadelphia. "Those who committed these crimes must be held to account."
The president's remarks followed the discovery of a second detention center in
Iraq containing hundreds of prisoners in cramped quarters and the apparent abuse of some of them.
He said most of the prisoners that have been recently discovered were Sunni Arab men, some of whom "have appeared to have been beaten and tortured."
Sunni leaders disclosed the detention centers, where many of the prisoners were Sunnis. The Iraqi government is dominated by sometimes rival Shiites.

Under Saddam it was the Sunni's messing with the Shiites. Under American/Iraqi rule do you think we are going to see a increasing role reversal?
