Here some incoming for all of you interested in the Zimmermann Affair. Looks like Politics will get to play its part too.

The Rev. Al Sharpton announced Tuesday that he will lead a national "Justice for Trayvon" day in 100 cities this weekend to press for federal civil rights charges against George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman's acquittal over the weekend in the shooting death of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin has touched off protests around the country. The Justice Department is investigating whether Zimmerman violated Martin's civil rights when he shot the 17-year-old during a February 2012 confrontation in Sanford, Fla. Zimmerman said he fired his gun in self-defense.

"People all across the country will gather to show that we are not having a two- or three-day anger fit. This is a social movement for justice," Sharpton said as he announced the plan outside the Justice Department with several ministers.

The rallies and vigils will occur in front of federal court buildings at noon Saturday in cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and New York.

Sharpton admits there are possible legal hurdles, but says "there is also a blatant civil rights question of does Trayvon Martin and the Trayvon Martins of this country have the civil right to go home.".....snip~

It would appear now that Sharpton will go after Florida's Stand Your Ground Law. Not that he wants to live there with those good people of Florida. Just that he wants to tell them what laws they can and can't have.

Did anyone want to throw out an Amen for Sharptones?

I would love to have him sit down in a televised interview with a juror. Or with Omara. You know. Someone who understands "beyond a reasonable doubt."

Uhm...no.

Sharpton and everyone who's been pulled in by the media's mischaracterization of the conflict will not stop until their form of justice is administered.

Initially Sharpton wanted a trial.

He got one, now since the trial didn't pan out he's raised the bar.

If Holder refuses, then there will be real unrest, violence and property destruction.

jus·tice
/ˈjəstis/Noun
1.Just behavior or treatment.
2.The quality of being fair and reasonable.

Martin did get Justice, as did Zimmerman. Case closed.

Well if a race war is what they are aiming for, they may get it.

I've first hand experience with viewing the results of Sharpton's protests.

He lives for the unrest, the 'disobedience', the 'but they're just upset'. It's his bread and butter.

He is no healer of racial rifts, he is the acid in the wound.

Sharpton says vigils will be followed by a conference next week in Miami to develop a plan to address Florida's "stand-your-ground" law. The law gives people wide latitude to use deadly force if they fear death or bodily harm.....snip~

Next week.....looks like he will go and stir the Pot in Miami.

AL sharpton is a veteran of the civil rights movement so his perception on this trial may be biased by his experience back in the late 60s.

for people who have a understanding about what it was like in states that supported segregation back in the 1950's and 1960's, the chance's for a fair trial for a African American in states like Mississippi or Alabama were next to none.

people like AL sharpton had fought for years to end such prejudice and in their minds it is a constant struggle.

If Holder refuses, then there will be real unrest, violence and property destruction.

And more black men will end up dead and in jail . . . being used by their goofball race baiters and ruining their lives.

Do you notice no one is "up in arms" about the DOJ investigation other than the media? Most people will just let the investigation happen. The uproar will begin if the DOJ files charges. I predict it will be an uproar the likes of which we've never seen before in this country since Viet Nam.

Al Sharpton is a waste of hot air. Can't we just throw him in prison for 'something'?

I don't think Sharpton and other race-baiters have been "pulled in by the media"; rather, they've pulled an eager media in.

Yet Sharptones lives in NYC.....parties out West Coast. Doesn't tread on Jesse Jackson's ground. Yet here both are out and about playing the racial divide. Pretty much telling Holder they will stir the divide.....openly.

Chicago.....Los Angeles.....NYC. Who is profiling who?

Sharpton is an ancient millionaire bigot against African-Americans. He makes is money by degrading African-Americans and then raging about how he has degraded them.

Besides maybe the cast of Jersey Shore, trust fund babies and some lottery winners, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are the only two people who come to mind who have gotten rich by contributing absolutely nothing positive to society.

And now he is undoing all that good work. Just like Jesse Jackson.

Oh and Jesse is showing how he is doing more than getting the NAACP and the DOJ involved. He wants the UN Involved and guess what.....they agreed. At least for an investigation into the shooting. Now just how did he say he was a Proud American, again?

Jesse Jackson Urges U.N. Human Rights Council to Investigate Trayvon Martin Shooting -

The Rev. Jesse Jackson, founder and president of the Rainbow Push Coalition, wants the United Nations’ human rights watchdog brought into the debate over the shooting of Trayvon Martin. Various parts of the U.N. human rights system have in the past weighed in on the Feb. 2012 shooting of the 17-year-old, criticizing Florida’s “stand your ground” law and, in one case, calling for “reparation for the victims.”

But Jackson is proposing an investigation by the U.N.’s top human rights apparatus, the Human Rights Council (HRC), a controversial body whose ranks include regimes with poor human rights records, including some of America’s most vocal critics.

Congress must act,” he added. “And it’s time to call on the United Nations Human Rights Commission for an in-depth investigation of whether the U.S. is upholding its obligations under international human rights laws and treaties.” (The Human Rights Commission no longer exists; it was replaced by the HRC in 2006.) Every U.N. member state undergoes a HRC “universal periodic review” every four years, and the next one examining the U.S. record is not scheduled until May 2015.

But governments and non-governmental organizations have many other opportunities during regular HRC sessions in Geneva to raise issues pertaining to specific countries – as the NAACP did last year in drawing the council’s attention to what it called “voter-suppression” measures like voter-ID laws. Several other cogs in the U.N. human rights system already have taken note of aspects of the Martin shooting. Days before Zimmerman was indicted in April 2012 – at a time when local, state and federal inquiries had been underway for weeks

U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay called for “an immediate investigation” into the shooting. “The law should operate equally in respect of all violations,” she said during a visit to Barbados. “So, like every other situation such as this, we will be urging an investigation, and prosecution and trialand of course reparation for the victims concerned.”

I think Jesse has lost his damn mind. Might have to do with his son and daughter in law going to jail.

So when's Al going to explain to us why 50 percent of the nation's violent crimes are committed by 13 percent of our population?

Jesse Jackson fears black youth too.
"When I hear footsteps behind me and see a white person, I feel relieved".

Heya Erod :2wave: .....Better yet, when is Jesse going to explain to the American People How he got the UN Human Rights Council Involved. Rather than going thru his own government first?

Looks like they will try to use the UN to go after Florida's Stand your Ground Gun Law.

Great Post. Very informative.

That last sentence might be just another reason to explain his most recent mental condition.

I hate seeing something like this. He got it into the UN HRC. If they say anything about Florida's Stand Your ground Law. This will create some major flak with the UN. Yet Jackson will be to walk away untouched.

Anyway. The two most famous 'race whores' the Black community have embraced for decades won't live forever. Then who will take their place? HAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAA.
Got it in one! 'Precious'. Perfect choice.
