I realize we don't want to hear it. But if our parents fail to inform us about sex or masturbation, we'll learn it on the street. There's a reason why we have sex organs- to give us pleasure, and to multiply. There's nothing to be ashamed of being naked. We were born naked. And masterbation is totally natural, again there's nothing to be ashamed of there.

I don't agree, when I was a teen, I learned all about sex from porn. Larry Flint has a true purpose in life, and that is it.

By stopping kids from finding out the pleasures that their bodies bring,or inflicting kids with guilt at the highest level, and comparing maturbating with evil, is acting like a criminal.

Now that science can show how masturbation doesn't impose any of the evils that was said, and that it is fundamental and paramount during the crucial stage when a child discovers his own body, it is indeed time to forget about all those stories that frowned upon it, and who peddled such foolish and guilt-inducing idiocies.

Ive always fantacized about having sex with a hott sex-ed teacher. She can teach me tease me please me. Ohh mental pictures. Yeepeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Now for those of you who think im far right. I think there should be a experimental lab for sex-ed. Meaning when the teacher goes over oral sex they get to practice, hehe I wish I had that. That would be tax dollars well spent :rofl

Like I was a teenager less than a year ago, and I was a speed addict (hurts libido), and I was on anti-depressents (also hurting the libido) and I once I had sex 8 times in 4 hours while on anti-depressents and high on speed.
Think about that, exactly how sexually driven you have to be to:
a)find someone willing to have sex 8 times in 4 hours
b)actually be able to do so.

...Dude. I bet she was sore.

Bowling balls? Speed, depressants, and sex? Guys, this is a little out of hand, don't you think? Tone it down. If you want to discuss past sexual experiences, please do so on your own time or if you must, do it in a forum not open to the public.

Well, if the parent is that bad of a parent, then its the parents fault for forcing the kid out of a vital class.

So, I really don't care. It doesn't affect me certainly, since most parents wouldn't do this...

But you don't care the the children suffer for their parents' ignorance? Perhaps Scientologists are right, then? We should stop medical care for kids if the parents don't believe in it?

or you could do something along the lines of child rights.

Where they can overthrow their parents will in a situation such as recieving medical care or their education, it would have to be a very specific law, though.

Sexual education should cover all the scientic aspects, from how the biology works, what STD are, how you can protect yourself...and yes, that would include all available contraceptions.

The morals if deemed necessary can be discussed at home.

What we are talking about is teaching so-called "safe sex" to children. I object to the government going in and telling my children that putting on a condom and having sex is "safe" and acceptable. In your book, perhaps it is. Not in mine. I have a right to teach my children morals, NOT the state. If it violates the religious strictures I am trying to teach my children, I HAVE THE RIGHT to opt my children out of the program.

I suggest you excercise this right while homeschooling.

Thats all well and good but not everybody thinks like you. Would you rather have your kids having sex without condoms? You can try and teach them morals at home but there a certain things that they have to know and you can't just scare them.

I don't think it is the school's responsibility at all. I think Sex Ed, is a bad idea, because i went through it, we had a feminist teacher who said that sex is a horrible thing to do, and if we did it, then we WOULD get and STD or we WOULD get a girl pregnant. That is an example of a bad opinion of sex. If we want our kids to learn about sex, teach it yourself and stop being scared to talk about that kind of stuff to your son/daughter.

Thats true to a point. But you know as well as I do that parents would scare the living crap out of them about it casue they are looking after their kids. But I think its better if they know the facts which all parents dont know the facts. So I think there needs to be a level of both.

I think it's important for the schools to teach kids how to be safe. How to use contraceptives with "perfect use" rather than "typical use." At the same time I don't think school should be passing out condoms to children. I think that that's the difference between educating about sex and encouraging sex. Also I do feel it's important that the parents be involved in their child's education on such a sensitve topic.

How many sons and daughters would actually want to hear it from their parents?

I think that whether you encourage it or not, kids will still do it. Hell, I did. But do i have an STD? No. Did I get a girl pregnant? No. But it happens. You don't want to discourage it, because belive it or not, kids will still do it. Hell, I did. Discouraging it would almost be bad, because kids would do it just to break the rules.
