Many pro-illegal politicians masquerading as anti-illegal immigration politicians are trying to push this idea that you should support amnesty if it mandates that the border be secured first and other enforcement measures must enacted before illegals are granted amnesty. Has it ever occurred to any of you out there that these politicians could falsely claim that the border is secured or falsely claim we have enforcement in order to get amnesty for illegals? Has it ever occurred to any of you out there that once all the illegals have amnesty or legal status that there is nothing to prevent them yanking border security and other enforcement measures? Because of right now their track record for securing the border and enforcing illegal immigration laws is a absolute joke.Heck they even sued states for trying do the job that the federal government is refusing to do regarding deterring and cracking down on illegal immigration. Yet we are somehow supposed to believe that these people are going to secure the border and enact and enforce anti-illegal immigration laws.

Sessions: 'This Bill Must Never Become Law' | The Weekly Standard
Senator Jeff Sessions, the chief opponent of the immigration bill, released this statement in response to the Senate passing the law by a vote of 68-32:
“Sponsors of this legislation—despite the array of financial, establishment and special interest support—failed to hit their target of 70 votes. The more people learned about the bill the more uneasy they became. Failure to reach 70 votes is significant, and ensures the House has plenty of space to chart an opposite course and reject this fatally flawed proposal.
"So while the bill passed the Senate, this is just the beginning.
"The legislation adopted today guarantees three things: immediate amnesty before security, permanent future illegal immigration, and a record surge in legal immigration that will reduce wages and increase unemployment.
"There will be no border fence, no border surge, nothing but the same tired illusory promises of future enforcement that will never occur. Americans have begged and pleaded time and again for Congress to end the lawlessness. But this amnesty-first bill is a surrender to lawlessness.

We have the proof that they will not because they allow the selective enforcement involved of the current "dreamy" version by not allocating "the resources" claimed to be needed to enforce current immigration law. Currently, less than 7% of employers are using E-verify, which is "free" for the gov't to impose as an unfunded mandate. My feeling is that complete border security is impossible, and that an estimated 40% of our current illegals enter "legally" yet simply overstay their temporary visas. It is the employment/gov't benefit magnet that must be dealt with to discourage illegal aliens.

Well it wont matter much now.....as House Republicans are saying the Bill passed by the Senate is DOA!

So they say.I think they are playing a three card Monte with the people. They will come out with a Amnesty bill alleging that all the border security and enforcement provisions must be enacted first. But there will be absolutely nothing done to prevent that stuff from being yanked or neutered before or after all the illegals have amnesty.

Yeah I know....but after Obama urged the House to pass the Bill. Beohner came out and said it was DOA. The House would write it's own bill.

Obama urges House to pass immigration reform by August.....

President Barack Obama on Saturday urged the House of Representatives to follow the lead of the Senate and pass a bill by August to reform the U.S. immigration system.

Speaking during a press conference in South Africa, Obama said there was more than enough time for lawmakers to finish work on the issue before their summer recess.

Despite strong bipartisan support for the Senate bill, the leader of the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, John Boehner, said the measure was dead on arrival in his chamber. Boehner said House Republicans would write their own bill.

Many House Republicans oppose citizenship for immigrants who are in the United States illegally, arguing law-breakers should not be rewarded. Any House Republican bill is expected to focus heavily on border security and on finding immigrants who have outstayed their visas.....snip~

This is the part that worries me.

Well.....they will want more Border security and E-Verify. But they will be treading a thin line with the election coming. They better not screw it up. We could take the Senate and you know what happens to Obama and his Obamacare if that takes place. ;)

Although IMO, they will not go for Obama's measure over same sex couples that are Illegals.
