It's a French film. Their tastes and values are much different than Americans. Got a 2.1 ..out of 10 on Internet Movie Database. I wouldn't watch it anyway.
 
So, I decided to watch the trailer. Just that was disturbing.

But considering all the right-wing freakout over just about anything sexual in the media, particularly if women or girls are involved, I can't yet rule out that this is just their latest moral panic that completely misses the point of what the film is actually showing.

Plus, with some of the more extreme voices on the internet blurring the lines if not outright supporting child sexuality--think about the comment that brought down Milo Yiannopoulos--and its clear condemnation of Islam's conservative values, I have to wonder whether the rabid right might be openly condemning Cuties while privately loving it.

Still, it's very unlikely that I'll watch Cuties. Think I'll watch The Social Dilemma instead.

So apparently some Senators got a hardon from watching 11-year-old girls. They should be ashamed of themselves. And apparently they're so upset they got a hardon they want to ban the show they got it from.

Did anyone bother to remind you that you dont need to watch it? I've never heard of it and my life is none the worse because I haven't watched or or that it even exists.
 
I have Netflix and have enjoyed the access to some older shows and films. But most of the Netflix original stuff is crap. Like that one serious "Hollywood" which is a cesspool of debauchery. I'm no prude, but that was unwatchable. Who wants to watch "soft gay porn" that isn't a homosexual? Who the hell does Netflix believe their target audiences are other than homosexuals with that show, or with this Cuties show people who are into kiddie porn?
 
I am not fond of using young girls as sex objects... but shouldn't we just let the Market decide?

After all, if there are enough viewers to keep this program running, don't we actually want to know of it?

And once we let Congress start to dictate programming, where does it end?

This will set a very dangerous precedent. Doesn't the 1st prohibit such?
